Mobile Washing and Toilet Facilities
Mobile washing and toilet facilities generally refer to movable installations that meet the toilet needs in temporary or fixed locations, namely mobile toilets. Some homemade mobile restrooms can also fulfill both washing and toilet functions.

I. Composition of Mobile Toilets Mobile toilets are typically composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. Among them, the washing equipment can meet basic washing needs, such as hand washing; while the sanitary ware is used for toilet-related functions.
II. Types of Mobile Toilets
- By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure ones are relatively independent and simple, while composite-structure ones may be more complex and diverse in terms of functions or space utilization.
- By moving method: There are lifting and handling-type mobile toilets, which mainly rely on external lifting equipment or manual handling to change positions; and powered and trailer-type mobile toilets, which have their own power devices or can be moved by vehicle towing, offering more flexible and convenient movement.
- By sewage treatment method: They can be classified into water-flushing and waterless-flushing suction-type mobile toilets. Water-flushing types use water flow for cleaning, while waterless-flushing suction types use suction devices to treat fecal sewage; circulating water-flushing mobile toilets can recycle the flushing water to save water resources; and dry-packing mobile toilets pack and treat feces without the need for water flushing.
III. Special Types of Mobile Toilets Mobile intelligent and environmentally friendly public restrooms are a relatively special category, characterized by their compact size, mobility, intelligence, and environmental friendliness. For example, the Yuanting Smart Environmental Protection Public Restroom Station has a white apple-shaped appearance and is equipped with a large display screen, air conditioner, fresh air system, intelligent disinfection, intelligent sensor flushing system, etc. It not only provides a comfortable toilet environment but also offers various intelligent functions, enhancing the user experience.
IV. Homemade Mobile Restrooms Individuals can also use materials such as buckets to make movable restrooms. For instance, a young man built a movable restroom using several buckets. He installed universal wheels on a wooden board as the base, cut buckets to create entrances and exits, extended and heightened them with aluminum-plastic panels, installed bucket lids, made wooden doors, connected drainage pipes and floor drains, installed green buckets with water pipe connectors, made shower heads with PVC pipes, and installed toilets, achieving the integration of washing and toilet functions.
