Mobile Vehicle-mounted Public Toilet

Admin October 08, 2026

A mobile vehicle-mounted public toilet is an advanced toilet designed for convenient mobile use, also known as a vehicle-mounted mobile toilet or vehicle-mounted mobile restroom.

I. Basic Structure and Materials
The frame of a mobile vehicle-mounted public toilet is welded using national standard steel, ensuring structural stability. Its surface is covered with anti-corrosion and fire-resistant materials such as color-coated steel plates or carved panels, effectively resisting environmental erosion and reducing fire risks, with a service life of over 20 years. This material selection balances durability and safety, making it suitable for long-term mobile use scenarios.

II. Internal Functional Systems

  1. Excreta Treatment System: It is equipped with an independent urinal and toilet partitioned treatment system. The urinal channel utilizes gravity self-flow design to reduce odor residue, while the toilet channel employs a piston-type scraper mechanical device for cleaning, achieving efficient drainage through physical scraping and avoiding the waste associated with traditional water flushing.
  2. Sanitary Facilities: It is equipped with non-slip floors, automatic flushing toilets, and ventilation and lighting systems. The non-slip floors reduce usage risks, the automatic flushing toilets achieve water-saving cleaning through sensors or timing devices, the ventilation system maintains air circulation through forced or natural ventilation, and the lighting system uses energy-saving lamps to ensure nighttime use.
  3. Technical Standards: It complies with the GBLT18091-92 standard, which sets clear requirements for the sanitary conditions, structural safety, and environmental performance of public toilets, ensuring that the product meets public usage norms.

III. Technical Routes and Product Forms
Since 2012, mobile toilets have gradually formed three major technical routes:

  1. Waterless Flush Type: It uses biodegradation or chemical treatment technology to decompose excreta without the need for water, suitable for water-scarce areas.
  2. Foam Sealing Type: It uses a foaming agent to cover the surface of excreta, isolating odors and reducing flushing water volume, achieving significant water-saving effects.
  3. Water Flush Type: It adopts the traditional water flushing method but reduces water consumption by optimizing pipeline design, suitable for areas with sufficient water sources.
Product forms have expanded to include trailer-mounted, box-type substation cabinet-mounted, and stainless steel sentry box-mounted types, meeting the needs of different scenarios. For example, the trailer-mounted type is convenient for rapid deployment, the box-type substation cabinet-mounted type can integrate power supply systems, and the stainless steel sentry box-mounted type is suitable for high-end scenic spots.

IV. Application Scenarios and Customized Services
Mobile vehicle-mounted public toilets have covered public places such as scenic spots, service areas, and rural areas, and support customization according to demand. Some merchants can adjust the size, functional modules, or appearance materials according to user needs, such as adding baby care rooms, barrier-free facilities, or antique-style exterior designs, to adapt to the cultural or functional needs of specific scenarios.
