Mobile Travel Toilet Construction Plan

Admin October 11, 2026

The mobile travel toilet construction plan requires systematic planning, covering aspects such as background, preparation, process, quality control, and scenario adaptation to ensure functionality and user experience.

1. Project Background and Objectives

With the rapid development of the tourism industry, the demand for restrooms in public places has surged. The construction plan aims to address the issues of long construction periods and poor flexibility associated with traditional toilets through a scientific process, enhancing public service efficiency and meeting temporary or long-term needs in scenic spots, transportation hubs, and other scenarios.

2. Construction Preparation

  1. Personnel and Training: Form a construction team including a project manager and technicians, and conduct training on safety regulations and equipment operation.
  2. Materials and Equipment: Select main structures (such as light steel frames) that comply with national standards, eco-friendly sanitary ware, waterproof materials, and equip with construction vehicles, electrical testing tools, and safety protection facilities.
  3. Technical Preparation: Familiarize with design drawings, prepare construction plans and emergency response plans, and clarify water and electricity access points and sewage discharge paths.

3. Construction Process

  1. Site Survey: Assess geological conditions, surrounding environment, and power supply locations to optimize layout plans.
  2. Foundation Construction: Level the land, lay foundation piles, and pour concrete to ensure stability.
  3. Main Structure Installation: Assemble light steel frames, install interior and exterior wall panels, doors, windows, and sanitary ware, and reserve water and electricity interfaces.
  4. Water and Electricity Debugging: Connect water supply and drainage pipes, install lighting and ventilation systems, and test for leaks and unobstructed circuits.
  5. Decoration and Finishing: Lay anti-slip floor tiles, paint walls, and install exhaust fans and deodorization equipment.
  6. Acceptance and Trial Operation: Check the integrity of facilities, simulate usage to test flushing, lighting, and other functions, and rectify any abnormalities.

4. Construction Quality Control

  1. Material Acceptance: Verify material certificates, conduct spot checks on concrete, pipes, and other materials, and prevent substandard products from entering the site.
  2. Process Supervision: Construct in accordance with the 'Urban Public Toilet Design Standards,' focusing on inspecting foundation strength and water and electricity sealing.
  3. Completion Acceptance: Conduct joint inspections with quality inspection and environmental protection departments, issue inspection reports, and rectify non-conforming items within a specified timeframe.

5. Scenario-Based Layout Principles

  1. Distance and Density: Configure one toilet per 500 people with a spacing of ≤300 meters in scenic spots, and add temporary toilets in high-traffic areas.
  2. Functional Zoning: Maintain a male-to-female toilet ratio of 1:1.2, add accessible stalls and baby changing stations, and equip with basic supplies such as tissue paper and hand dryers.
  3. Eco-Friendly Technologies: Prioritize water flushing or biodegradable sewage systems to avoid soil pollution; in remote areas, vacuum sewage systems can be used to reduce water dependency.

6. Case References

The Datong project constructed 30 standardized toilets in Pingcheng and Yungang districts, strictly adhering to the CJJ14-2016 standard, and shortened the construction period to 90 days through modular design; the Yingtan plan adopted dual-unit public toilets for rapid deployment during large-scale events, with withdrawal within 48 hours after the event, achieving efficient recycling.
