Mobile Tourism Public Toilet

Admin October 02, 2026

A mobile tourism public toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and placed at fixed or temporary locations to provide toilet services for the public and customers, suitable for tourist attractions and other places.

I. Basic Composition A mobile tourism public toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, mobile device, etc. These components work together to ensure the basic functions of the toilet are realized, such as the storage and treatment of feces, and the cleanliness and comfort of the toilet environment.

II. Classification Methods

  1. By structural form: It can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is relatively simple and suitable for places with limited space or single needs; the composite-structure type is more complex and may contain multiple functional areas to meet richer usage requirements.
  2. By moving method: It can be divided into lifting and handling mobile toilets and powered and trailer-mounted mobile toilets. The lifting and handling type relies on external equipment for movement and is suitable for short-distance or fixed-location adjustments; the powered and trailer-mounted type has autonomous movement capabilities and can be transported long distances to different locations.
  3. By sewage treatment method: It can be divided into water-flush and waterless-flush suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. The water-flush and waterless-flush suction types rely on water sources for flushing or suction treatment; the circulating water-flush type realizes the reuse of water resources through an internal circulation system; the dry-packing type does not require a water source and treats feces by packing, suitable for places with water shortages or high environmental protection requirements.

III. Advantages and Characteristics Mobile tourism public toilets have the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport. They can be conveniently transported to any place where toilets need to be installed, such as tourist attractions and temporary event venues, and can be used repeatedly, reducing construction costs. For example, the mobile landscape public toilet on the embankment of the Qiantang River in Hangzhou is produced and completed in the factory and then transported to the site for lifting and installation. After connecting the pipelines, it can be used, and the location can be adjusted later to save construction costs.
