Mobile Top Toilet

Admin September 20, 2026

A mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and placed in fixed or temporary locations to provide toilet services for the public and customers. It is introduced from the aspects of composition, classification, and special types as follows:

I. Basic Composition A mobile toilet generally consists of multiple parts. The fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device) is used to collect and treat fecal sewage, preventing direct discharge from polluting the environment. The floor provides a stable standing and moving space for users. Sanitary ware such as toilets or squat pans meets basic toilet needs. Walls serve to divide the space and protect privacy. Washing equipment facilitates user cleaning. The water tank supplies water for flushing and other operations. The roof shields against wind and rain, protecting the internal facilities. The mobile device enables the toilet to be moved as a whole conveniently.

II. Classification

  1. By structural form: Mobile toilets can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is relatively simple and independent, suitable for locations with limited space or high flexibility requirements. The composite-structure type is composed of multiple parts, potentially offering richer functions to meet more complex usage needs.
  2. By moving method: There are lifting and handling-type mobile toilets, which usually require equipment such as cranes for movement and are suitable for large and heavy mobile toilets. Powered and towed-type mobile toilets have their own power or can be towed by vehicles for movement, making them more convenient and suitable for scenarios that require frequent location changes.
  3. By sewage treatment method: Mobile toilets are divided into water-flushing and waterless-flushing suction-type mobile toilets. The water-flushing type uses water for flushing, offering relatively high cleanliness. The waterless-flushing suction type treats feces through a suction device. The recirculating water-flushing type can recycle the flushing water, saving water resources. The dry-packing type packs the feces for treatment, requiring no water and being suitable for water-scarce areas.

III. Special Types There are double-roof mobile toilets, such as the double-roof toilet produced by Dezhou Hongtu Metal Products Co., Ltd. It has four squat positions and adopts a double-roof design as a whole. The exterior wall uses heat-insulating and sound-proofing golden carved panels, effectively maintaining a stable temperature inside the toilet. The front wall is equipped with two light-transmitting windows, increasing internal lighting and reducing energy consumption. It has separate areas for men and women, with a public washing area in the middle, offering relatively complete functions and better meeting user needs.
