The following is information about mobile toilets in Yanliang District:

Progress of Public Toilet Renovation

Yanliang District has actively responded to the call of the "Toilet Revolution" by carrying out a comprehensive renovation of public toilets within its jurisdiction. As of now, the renovation tasks for 24 public toilets are nearing completion. Among them, 18 public toilets have been renovated and passed inspections, and have been officially put into use; the remaining 6 public toilets are expected to be renovated and handed over for use by December 5th. The renovation project covers a wide area and involves a relatively large number of public toilets, reflecting the local government's emphasis on improving the level of public sanitation facilities.

Facility Upgrades After Renovation

The renovated public toilets have achieved significant improvements in hardware facilities:

  • Smart Flushing Systems: Urinals are equipped with smart sensor flushing technology, which enables automatic flushing without manual operation, ensuring both hygiene and water conservation. Squat toilets are fitted with delayed flushing valves that can adjust the flushing time according to usage needs, preventing water waste.
  • Lighting Optimization: LED lighting facilities have been added inside the public toilets, providing uniform and soft light that enhances the comfort of the restroom environment while reducing energy consumption, in line with green and environmentally friendly concepts.
  • Appearance and Internal Environment: The exterior design of the public toilets is simple and elegant, harmonizing with the surrounding environment. The internal environment has been completely revamped, with clean floors and walls, good ventilation, and a significant reduction in odors.

Guaranteeing the Needs of Special Groups

To address the restroom challenges faced by special groups (such as the elderly, children, people with disabilities, and parents with young children), Yanliang District has made internal structural adjustments to 4 public toilets and established third restrooms. These third restrooms are equipped with barrier-free facilities (such as handrails and low-level sinks), child safety seats, baby changing tables, etc. The spatial layout is reasonable, fully embodying a human-centered design concept and effectively improving the level of public services.

Significance of the Renovation

The public toilet renovation project in Yanliang District has not only improved residents' restroom experiences but also promoted urban civilization construction through intelligent and environmentally friendly designs. The renovated public toilets have become important windows for showcasing the city's image and provide a reference model for other regions.
