• Construction Status: In recent years, Donghai County has intensified its efforts in constructing and renovating public toilets in the urban area. Currently, there are 79 public toilets in the county seat. Among them, more than 30 public toilets located in places such as Xingfu Bridge, Jingyuan Road, and Pedestrian Street have reached the "three-star" standard. A number of new intelligent and cozy public toilets have also been opened to the public one after another, effectively solving the problem of residents' difficulty in finding toilets and enhancing the city's image.
• Service Optimization: To address the issue of women's difficulty in finding toilets, Donghai County has reasonably allocated the ratio of male and female toilet stalls, optimizing it from the original 1:1 to 2:3, and even to 1:2 in areas with high pedestrian traffic. Meanwhile, to meet the needs of the elderly, children, and special groups, third toilets and barrier-free toilet stalls have been set up, and humanized facilities such as handrails, hooks, hand dryers, infrared sensors, and deodorization and ventilation equipment have been added. In addition, a public toilet + composite function has been implemented, with a series of convenience facilities such as tissue dispensers, book racks, and umbrellas set up in the waiting area.
