Mobile Toilet Without Sewage Treatment

Admin October 09, 2026

The lack of sewage treatment in mobile toilets can be harmful to the environment, but there are multiple solutions available for eco-friendly sewage disposal.

Currently, various mature technologies have been developed for sewage treatment in mobile toilets, effectively preventing pollution and enabling resource utilization:

1. Jiahe Treatment System: Waterless Biodegradation Technology
This system employs biodegradation and solid-liquid separation processes, utilizing microorganisms to decompose organic matter in excreta into harmless carbon dioxide, water, and a small amount of solid residue. The treatment process does not require connection to a sewer system, achieving zero pollution discharge. Equipped with intelligent sensors, the system automatically triggers the treatment process, saving up to 90% of water, making it particularly suitable for water-scarce regions or outdoor settings. Its core advantage lies in waterless treatment, reducing sewage generation at the source while preventing solid waste accumulation through solid-liquid separation.

2. Chemical Treatment Method: Rapid Deodorization and Disinfection
By adding chemical reagents such as chlorine gas and sodium hydroxide to excreta, waste is separated from water, and bacterial growth is inhibited. This method can quickly reduce odors and harmful gas emissions, making it suitable for emergency scenarios or short-term use of mobile toilets. However, attention must be paid to the safe storage and use of chemicals to avoid secondary pollution.

3. Biological Treatment Method: Microbial Decomposition and Resource Utilization
Utilizing bioreactors and filters, organic matter in excreta is decomposed through microbial metabolism. The treated water meets irrigation standards and can be used for watering plants; solid residue can be composted and used as organic fertilizer. This method enables water resource recycling and waste resource utilization, but regular maintenance of bioreactors is required to ensure treatment efficiency.

4. Dry Packaging Type: Physical Isolation and Centralized Treatment
Biodegradable plastic bags are used to collect excreta, which are then sealed and transported to a treatment plant. This method requires no water flushing or chemical reagents, is simple to operate, and is suitable for remote areas without water or power supply. However, the biodegradability of the plastic bags must be ensured to prevent long-term accumulation and soil pollution.

5. Recirculating Water Flush Type: Closed-Loop Treatment and Water Conservation
Equipped with a fecal sewage treatment device, fermentation and decomposition are accelerated through biofilm technology, and the treated water is recirculated for toilet flushing. This method can reduce water consumption by more than 70% while preventing sewage discharge. However, regular cleaning of the biofilm and filtration devices is necessary to prevent clogging and odor generation.

These technologies achieve reduction, harmlessness, and resource utilization of sewage from mobile toilets through physical, chemical, or biological means, providing reliable guarantees for environmental protection and sustainable use.
