Mobile Toilet with Ventilation Port

Admin October 19, 2026

Mobile toilets usually come with ventilation ports, which are mainly located at the top, sides, and bottom. The functions and designs of ventilation ports at different positions vary.

Top ventilation ports: These are the most common and are generally located in the middle or corners of the top of public toilets. They adopt a grille design, which serves multiple purposes. On one hand, they can introduce fresh air from the outside while expelling the foul air inside the public toilet, achieving effective air exchange. On the other hand, the grille structure can prevent rainwater, debris, etc., from entering the interior of the public toilet, ensuring a clean environment inside. Some top ventilation ports are also equipped with exhaust fans. Through mechanical ventilation, the ventilation efficiency is further improved, and the air quality inside the public toilet is quickly enhanced. For example, in Xuzhou mobile toilets, natural ventilation is achieved through top skylights. The skylight designs are mostly openable. When the weather is suitable, opening them can enhance air convection.

Side ventilation ports: These are usually located at the upper part of the walls of public toilets, close to the top, and can be set on both sides or just one side. They also adopt a grille design and work in conjunction with the top ventilation ports to form air convection, accelerating the air circulation speed inside the public toilet. Moreover, some side ventilation ports can be flexibly opened and closed. Staff can adjust them according to different weather conditions. For instance, when it is hot and stronger ventilation is needed, the ventilation ports can be opened; while on rainy days or when there is a lot of wind and sand, they can be closed to prevent rainwater or sand from entering.

Bottom ventilation ports: These are mainly located on both sides or at the rear of the bottom of public toilets. Their main function is to expel the moisture on the ground and a small amount of odor, preventing the ground from getting moldy due to dampness and extending the service life of the public toilet. At the same time, they can assist the top and side ventilation ports to form a complete ventilation system, comprehensively improving the air condition inside the public toilet.

In addition, the ventilation ports of some intelligent mobile public toilets are combined with deodorization devices and are located above the toilet stalls. They can precisely expel the odor near the toilet stalls, further enhancing the ventilation and deodorization effects. Moreover, these ventilation ports are all sealed, effectively preventing rainwater leakage.
