Mobile Toilet with Three Squatting Positions

Admin September 28, 2026

A mobile toilet with three squatting positions, also known as a three-squatting-unit mobile toilet, refers to a toilet facility with three squatting-type toilet units installed within an independent mobile container, featuring mobility and a combination of multiple squatting positions.

I. Main Frame and Container Body
The main frame of a three-squatting-unit mobile toilet is typically made of lightweight yet sturdy materials, such as galvanized steel sheets, aluminum alloys, or high-strength composite materials. These materials possess anti-rust, corrosion-resistant, and impact-resistant properties, enabling them to adapt to various outdoor environments. The container body design emphasizes airtightness and thermal insulation performance, with internal waterproofing treatment and ventilation windows or exhaust fans installed to maintain air circulation. For example, some products adopt a galvanized steel frame structure, covered with waterproof asphalt on top, equipped with mobile lifting hooks for easy transportation; the wall panels use thermally insulating metal carved panels, and the doors are made of stainless steel. Other products feature a flat-roof design, with thermally insulating materials used for the exterior walls and aluminum alloy doors.

II. Squatting Units
The three squatting positions are usually arranged side by side or reasonably separated according to the shape of the container body. Each unit includes a squatting pan, a flushing device (or a waterless treatment system), and a partition door. The partition doors are equipped with simple locking mechanisms to ensure user privacy. The flushing devices may employ traditional water flushing, waterless degradation, or foam sealing technologies, depending on the type of excreta treatment system.

III. Excreta Treatment Systems

  1. Storage Tank Type: Each squatting position may have its own storage tank (septic tank) below, or they may share a common one, to collect excreta. A small amount of water may be used for flushing during use, or degradation agents and deodorizers may be employed to break down solid waste and reduce odors. Regular pumping and cleaning by cleaning service vehicles are required.
  2. Recirculating Water Flushing Type: Equipped with a small water tank and a recirculating water treatment system, this type filters and disinfects the flushing water for reuse, saving water but having a more complex structure.
  3. Dry/Packaging Type: Mechanical devices are used to automatically package and seal excreta in biodegradable plastic bags, or foam sealing technology is utilized to cover the toilet bowl opening and prevent odor emission. No water is needed, but regular replacement of the waste storage bags or replenishment of foaming agents is required.

IV. Auxiliary Facilities
These include lighting systems (which may be powered by solar energy), handrails, hooks, storage shelves, toilet paper holders, etc., aimed at enhancing user convenience.

Three-squatting-unit mobile toilets are widely used in temporary events, construction sites, parks, green spaces, and public places with limited space, alleviating toilet pressure during periods of high user concentration and improving usage efficiency. There are various brands available, such as Gerunsi Environmental Protection, Big Bee, and Fangda Mofang; types include mobile toilets, environmental protection toilets, and water-flushing toilets; materials cover steel structures, color-coated steel, and stainless steel; and uses involve outdoor toilets, mobile toilets, and public toilets.
