Mobile Toilet with Heating

Admin October 02, 2026

Mobile toilets with heating mainly come in two forms: using insulation covers with heating systems and being equipped with air conditioners.

The first form involves using insulation covers with heating systems. In cold regions, to ensure that outdoor mobile public toilets can function normally in extremely low temperatures during deep winter, special insulation covers and heating systems are designed for them. For example, in Harbin, for the eight mobile public toilets under the Middle East Railway Bridge, insulation covers covering an area of over 60 square meters were designed, along with synchronized heating systems. These insulation covers can wrap around the mobile public toilets, creating a relatively enclosed space and reducing heat loss. The heating systems can provide heat to this enclosed space, keeping the indoor temperature within a suitable range so that users do not feel cold when using the toilet. The advantage of this method is that it can effectively utilize space and can be flexibly designed and installed according to the actual location and quantity of mobile public toilets, with relatively controllable costs. However, the design and installation of insulation covers need to take into account factors such as their sturdiness, airtightness, and compatibility with the heating systems to ensure normal operation under harsh weather conditions.

The second form is being equipped with air conditioners. Some special toilet vehicles adopt this method to achieve heating functions. For instance, the Yilutong 12-meter special toilet vehicle is equipped with two 2P cold-warm inverter ceiling air conditioners on its roof. Air conditioners have both cooling and heating functions. In winter, they can provide a warm environment inside the toilet through the heating mode. The advantage of this method is that the heating effect of air conditioners is relatively stable, they can quickly adjust the indoor temperature, and can precisely control the temperature as needed. Moreover, air conditioners can also provide cooling functions in summer, serving multiple purposes. However, mobile toilet vehicles equipped with air conditioners have relatively high costs. Not only is the purchase cost of the air conditioners themselves high, but they also consume a large amount of electricity during use, increasing operating costs.
