Mobile Toilet with Fecal Tank Design

Admin October 13, 2026

The mobile toilet with a fecal tank design is a portable sanitation facility with a built-in sealed fecal tank. It achieves the collection and treatment of excreta through a closed-loop system, offering flexibility, environmental friendliness, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Components and Materials

The fecal tank is the core component of the design. It is typically made of corrosion-resistant materials (such as high-density polyethylene or stainless steel) and features leak-proof and odor-proof functions to ensure the sealed storage of excreta until professional treatment. The tank body structure is selected from lightweight yet sturdy materials (such as color-coated steel plates, aluminum alloys, or fiberglass-reinforced plastics), which reduce transportation costs while ensuring installation stability. Some high-end models also pre-install degradants or deodorants in the fecal tank to accelerate the decomposition of solid waste and neutralize odors.

Working Principle

Excreta directly fall into the sealed fecal tank through the toilet. Some models are equipped with a simple flushing system (using a small amount of water or environmentally friendly cleaning solution) to keep the toilet clean. When the fecal tank is full, it is regularly replaced by professionals. The waste is transported to a treatment site, where it undergoes harmless treatment before being discharged or reused (e.g., made into organic fertilizer). The entire process forms a closed loop, preventing soil, water source pollution, or disease transmission.

Main Advantages

  1. Flexibility and Convenience: No need to connect to underground sewage pipes or complex water and electricity facilities. It can be quickly deployed in scenarios such as construction sites, outdoor events, and remote areas, and can be adjusted according to demand.
  2. Outstanding Environmental Performance: The sealed fecal tank prevents odor diffusion and mosquito breeding, while degradants accelerate the harmless treatment of waste. Some models adopt a solar ventilation system to further reduce energy consumption and pollution.
  3. Cost-Effectiveness: Low initial investment and maintenance costs. There is no need to excavate the ground for pipe laying, and fecal tank replacement is charged on demand, avoiding water waste and high treatment fees.

Application Scenarios

  1. Construction Sites: With a large number of workers and high mobility, mobile toilets can be flexibly adjusted according to the progress of the project, providing continuous sanitation guarantees.
  2. Outdoor Events: Large-scale events such as music festivals and sports events require the rapid deployment of temporary facilities. Mobile toilets with fecal tanks can efficiently meet the needs of the crowd.

Specific Design Cases

  1. Color-Coated Steel Dry Toilet: The main frame is made of metal embossed plates, and the internal lining plates are made of high-strength plastics. It is equipped with a squatting pan, washbasin, flushing tank, and lighting. The fecal tank is independently detachable with an adjustable capacity for easy cleaning.
  2. Container Integrated Toilet and Bathroom: Factory-prefabricated with multiple compartments, it comes with a built-in fecal tank and can be used immediately upon placement without civil construction. It is suitable for emergency or long-term temporary needs.
