Wind-Resistant Design of Mobile Toilets
The wind-resistant design of mobile toilets requires comprehensive consideration from multiple aspects, including structural materials, installation and fixation, surrounding environment, height reinforcement, and wind-resistance rating design.

Structural Materials: Selecting a sturdy frame and high-quality wall materials is fundamental. The main frame can be made of steel or reinforced plastic, which are materials with high strength and good stability. The exterior walls use new-generation environmentally friendly and energy-saving metal carved insulation boards and other high-strength, corrosion-resistant panels. These not only offer excellent wind resistance but also have moisture-proof and acid-alkali resistant properties. At the same time, ensuring that the connection parts of various components are firm and tightly connected through methods such as welding can enhance the overall structural stability and strength, thereby increasing wind resistance.
Installation and Fixation Methods: The correct installation method is crucial for enhancing the stability of mobile toilets. Methods such as expansion screws or embedded parts can be used to firmly fix them to the ground or walls, increasing adhesion and load-bearing capacity, and effectively resisting external wind and rain. When setting up in temporary venues, using heavy objects for ballast is also a stable method. In addition, methods such as counterweights, ground anchors, and wind-resistant guy wires can further enhance wind resistance by 1-2 levels.
Surrounding Environment Considerations: The location selection significantly affects the wind resistance performance of mobile toilets. Mobile toilets located in open areas or at windy spots are more susceptible to direct impacts from typhoons, while those in sheltered or more complex surrounding environments experience relatively less wind impact. Therefore, surrounding environmental factors should be fully considered during location selection.
Height and Reinforcement: The higher the mobile toilet, the greater the impact of wind, and the more reinforcement is needed. When the height is ≥ 2.2m, it is recommended to use guy wires for reinforcement to enhance wind resistance.
Wind-Resistance Rating Design: Different scenarios have varying requirements for the wind-resistance rating of mobile toilets. The conventional standard is 8-10 levels, meeting the needs of construction sites, municipalities, and ordinary scenic spots. High-end/scenic/large models can reach level 12, adopting steel structures + reinforcement designs, suitable for coastal and open high-wind areas. Simple/lightweight models are rated at 6-8 levels, suitable only for low-wind and temporary scenarios. Construction site/economic models can withstand level 10 winds, meeting the safety requirements of municipalities and construction sites. In addition, basic models mostly use anti-corrosion galvanized steel plates, aluminum alloys, or engineering plastics as the main materials, paired with wear-resistant and weather-resistant coatings, and are fixed at the bottom with expansion bolts or counterweights, achieving a wind resistance of up to level 8. Models that adopt a steel frame structure and have a three-layer anti-rust treatment on the frame surface can achieve a wind resistance of over level 10, and some products can also meet the seismic resistance requirements of level 8 simultaneously.
