Mobile Toilet Wind Prevention Fixing Solution

Admin October 02, 2026

The mobile toilet wind prevention fixing solution should be comprehensively implemented from aspects such as site selection, fixing methods, door and window treatment, extreme weather response, and regular inspection and maintenance.

Site Selection and Foundation Treatment: The site should be selected away from open areas or wind gaps, choosing a flat area with good drainage. If the ground is soft (such as grass or sand), it is necessary to lay crushed stones, wooden boards, or steel plates to increase stability and prevent toilet tilting due to foundation settlement.

Fixing Methods:

  1. Foundation Fixing:
    • Weight Fixing: Heavy objects such as sandbags or water tanks should be installed at the bottom or outside of the toilet, with at least 4-6 bags placed on each side and a weight of not less than 50 kilograms per square meter to ensure uniform weight distribution.
    • Ground Anchor Fixing: Ground anchors should be set at the four corners or load-bearing positions of the toilet, with a depth exceeding 30 centimeters, and fixed with expansion screws or concrete pouring. Connect the ground anchors to the top of the toilet with steel wire ropes, nylon ropes, or fixing chains to form a triangular tension or 'well'-shaped diagonal tension structure, keeping the ropes tight and adding spring clips for easy adjustment.
  2. Structural Connection Fixing: Use steel structures or reinforced aluminum alloy frames, and high-strength materials such as metal carved insulation panels for walls. Ensure that all components are firmly connected through welding or bolts. Large connected toilets also need to be fixed to the ground with anchor bolts.

Door and Window Treatment: Check whether the sealing strips are aging and replace damaged parts in a timely manner; ensure that the locks are firm when closing doors and windows, and fill gaps with windproof strips. When a strong wind warning is issued, windproof baffles can be installed on the inside of the door to reduce wind pressure impact.

Extreme Weather Response:

  1. Before the arrival of a typhoon, fix movable parts such as washbasins and storage racks to avoid damage from shaking.
  2. Install diagonal windproof supports welded with steel pipes on the side of the toilet to enhance wind resistance.
  3. When rain or strong wind warnings are issued, reinforce the windproof ropes and add temporary supports; if slight tilting of the toilet is found, stop using it immediately and refix it.

Regular Inspection and Maintenance:

  1. Check whether the fixing bolts are loose and whether the weights have shifted every week.
  2. Ensure that the drainage holes are unobstructed during the rainy season to avoid imbalance caused by water accumulation.
  3. Check the structural integrity before and after each use, and check the fixing devices at the end of each day during activities to ensure that the windproof system is always in good condition.
