Waterless Treatment for Mobile Toilets

Admin October 11, 2026

Waterless treatment for mobile toilets primarily employs water-free flushing technology, foam-sealing water-saving technology, vacuum self-priming water-saving technology, and microbial degradation technology, among others.

Water-free flushing technology:

  • Water-free packaging type: The core of this technology consists of packaging bags made of biodegradable film, mechanical devices, and fecal storage tanks. After a user uses the toilet, a traction device automatically activates, packaging and sealing the excreta within the bag, effectively preventing odor leakage. This process requires no water source and does not necessitate connection to water supply or drainage pipes, making it suitable for locations with water scarcity or where pipe laying is not feasible.
  • Water-free biological treatment for fertilizer production type: By installing a biochemical reactor and filling it with periodically replenishable biological fillers, this technology utilizes microorganisms to degrade and ferment feces, ultimately producing humic organic fertilizer. Urine is treated and used as liquid fertilizer, achieving resource utilization of excreta.
  • Water-free flushable type: This technology uses a urine-feces separator to separate urine and feces. The collected urine is treated with special agents to form an odorless light blue liquid used as flushing fluid. The feces are mixed with the flushing fluid and processed into an odorless pulp-like fluid. The entire system incorporates wall-attached jet technology for full-process automated control, ensuring hygiene conditions without requiring large amounts of water.

Foam-sealing water-saving technology:
This technology uses foam generated by foaming liquid instead of water for flushing, achieving a water-saving rate of over 90%. The foam effectively seals in odors while reducing flushing water consumption, making it suitable for locations with high water-saving requirements.

Vacuum self-priming water-saving technology:
Relying on the air pressure difference between the toilet and the sewage pipe system, this technology enables fecal sewage to automatically enter storage or treatment devices. It consumes extremely low amounts of water, only 0.5 to 1 liter, significantly reducing water resource consumption.

Microbial degradation technology:
This technology utilizes specific microbial communities (such as marine microorganisms and anaerobic ammonium oxidation bacteria) to decompose excreta. Microorganisms break down feces into water vapor, carbon dioxide, and a small amount of organic fertilizer, achieving waterless, odorless, and resource utilization. This technology is particularly suitable for cold and water-scarce regions, effectively addressing sewage treatment issues for mobile toilets in these areas.
