Mobile Toilet Water-Saving Flushing Methods

Admin October 06, 2026

The water-saving flushing methods for mobile toilets mainly include three types: high-pressure air-water flushing, foam flushing, and designs based on new materials and water-saving technologies, as detailed below:

High-pressure air-water flushing: This technology achieves efficient flushing through the synergistic action of high-pressure water flow and gas. Its core principle involves using compressed air to accelerate the water flow to a high-pressure state, enabling the water to strike the inner walls of the toilet bowl at high speed, while the gas assists in expanding the flushing range to create a three-dimensional cleaning effect. Its water-saving advantage is significant, requiring only one-fifth of the normal flushing volume to achieve the same level of cleanliness. In terms of control, infrared sensors are linked with a computerized intelligent system to automatically trigger the flushing program after the user leaves, preventing water waste caused by manual operation. Additionally, high-pressure flushing effectively reduces the risk of pipe blockages and extends the service life of the equipment.

Foam flushing: This method generates a dense layer of foam on the surface of the toilet bowl using an automatic foaming machine. The foam, made by mixing a foaming agent with water, has an optimized density and stability that not only covers the surface of excreta to block odor diffusion but also reduces the adhesion of waste through the lubricating effect of the foam. Compared to traditional flushing, foam flushing can reduce water consumption by more than 90%, while the antibacterial components in the foam lower the risk of bacterial growth. During equipment operation, the foam liquid is recycled, requiring only periodic replenishment of the consumed portion, further conserving resources. This technology is particularly suitable for arid regions or scenarios with scarce water resources.

Designs based on new materials and water-saving technologies: This solution achieves water resource recycling through systematic water-saving design. Its technical path includes: installing a water collection device beneath the sink to automatically collect wastewater from hand washing; filtering the collected wastewater to remove impurities and then adding a dedicated biological agent; and transporting the treated water through pipes to the flushing system for toilet bowl cleaning. According to actual tests, this technology can reduce the single flush volume to 0.46 liters, saving more than 80% of water compared to traditional mobile toilets. The addition of the biological agent not only enhances the decontamination ability but also inhibits the growth of microorganisms in the pipes, reducing maintenance frequency. This technology requires a dedicated water treatment module, with higher initial investment but significantly lower long-term operating costs compared to other water-saving solutions.
