Mobile Toilet Water Connection Pipe

Admin September 23, 2026

The installation of water connection pipes for mobile toilets should follow standardized procedures, paying attention to key details such as pipe diameter, slope, and joint handling. The specific steps and key points are as follows:

I. Installation Sequence and Basic Operations

  1. Plan the Water Route: Before installation, clarify the water route layout with a professional, including the paths for water inlet and outlet as well as joint positions, to avoid rework later. For example, the water inlet should be close to the water source, and the outlet should have a reserved slope to ensure smooth drainage.
  2. Fix Pipe Clamps: Use an electric hammer to drill holes in the wall and fix clamps (such as U-shaped pipe clamps) at predetermined positions. Adjust the spacing according to the pipe diameter (usually 50-80 cm) to ensure the pipeline is stable and does not shake.
  3. Hot-Melt Connect Pipes: Use a professional hot-melt machine to heat and weld PPR pipes. Control the temperature (about 260°C) and heating time (adjusted according to the pipe diameter) to avoid false welding or leakage. After connection, check if the joints are flat and seamless.
  4. Pressure Test: Use a pressure testing pump to inject 0.6-0.8 MPa of pressure into the pipeline and maintain it for more than 30 minutes. Observe whether the pressure gauge is stable. If the pressure drop is ≤0.05 MPa, it is considered qualified, ensuring no leakage risk.
  5. Clean the Site: After installation, clean up debris and dust to keep the environment clean and prevent impurities from clogging the pipes.

II. Accessory Selection and Installation Requirements

  1. Pipe Diameter Matching:
    • Water Inlet Pipe: It is recommended to use a 2-分管 (inner diameter ≈ 6.35 mm), which can be connected to a washing machine faucet or angle valve. A three-way adapter is required to fit different joints.
    • Drain Pipe: A 3-分管 (inner diameter ≈ 9.52 mm) is recommended, which can be directly inserted into floor drains, wall drains, or sink drain pipes. Ensure the pipe diameter matches the joint to avoid poor drainage.
  2. Odor and Insect Prevention Design: Install an odor-proof core or trap at the end of the drain pipe to prevent odors and insects from entering. If connected to a floor drain, a silicone seal ring can be used to enhance sealing.
  3. Drain Slope Control: The drain pipe should maintain a slope of ≥2% (i.e., a drop of 2 cm per meter) to ensure natural flow of sewage and prevent water accumulation that breeds bacteria.
  4. Wall Drain Height Limit: If the drainage is connected to a wall drain, the joint height should be ≤50 cm for easy sewage discharge and compliance with building codes.

III. Precautions

  • Material Quality: Use PPR pipes and accessories that meet national standards to avoid aging and cracking caused by inferior materials.
  • Professional Operation: Hot-melt connection and pressure testing should be performed by certified personnel to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Regular Inspection: After use, regularly check if the joints are loose or if the pipes are clogged, and perform timely maintenance to extend the service life.
