Mobile Toilet Water and Electricity Reservation Design

Admin October 08, 2026

The design of water and electricity reservation for mobile toilets requires comprehensive planning from aspects such as toilet area layout, circuit load, water pressure requirements, and floor conditions to ensure functionality and safety.

1. Toilet Area Layout and Water and Electricity Embedding

  • Width and Embedded Parts: It is recommended that the width of the toilet area be 80-90 cm to ensure sufficient space for use. The water and electricity embedded parts for wall-mounted toilets should be embedded in advance to avoid damaging the structure by slotting later.
  • Socket and Water Valve:
    • Socket: Reserve a waterproof socket (with a splash-proof box) for the smart toilet. The position should be 30 cm to the left or right of the center of the sewage outlet and about 30 cm from the ground, avoiding the water inlet angle valve. It is recommended to use a 16A three-hole socket to ensure circuit safety.
    • Water Valve: Confirm whether reclaimed water is used for flushing. If tap water is required, reserve a water valve. The horizontal position of the water valve and the socket should be more than half of the toilet width from the center of the sewer to prevent being blocked by the toilet. Measure the distance from the center of the sewer pipe to the wall in advance and purchase a toilet according to the standard sizes of 305 mm or 400 mm.
    • Auxiliary Functions: A bathroom heater can be installed in the toilet area (avoiding the shower area). Reserve an induction switch to control the night light. Install a toilet spray gun for easy cleaning.

2. Circuit Load and Safety
The instantaneous power of a smart toilet can reach 1200-1500W (the superposition of heating the seat ring, warm air drying, and the flushing pump), so it is necessary to ensure that the circuit load in the bathroom matches:

  • Independent Circuit: It is recommended to reserve an independent circuit with a 4-square-millimeter copper wire to avoid sharing the circuit with other high-power electrical appliances (such as bathroom heaters) and prevent tripping.
  • Grounding Protection: Grounding protection must be provided. For the renovation of old houses, it is necessary to focus on checking the branch capacity after the main switch under the electricity meter (for example, the rated current of a 2.5-square-millimeter aluminum wire in a house built in the 1990s is only 12A, and the circuit needs to be upgraded).

3. Water Pressure Requirements and Solutions
Smart toilets (especially those without water tanks) rely on stable water pressure:

  • Testing Method: Open the angle valve and use a 5-liter Coke bottle to collect water. If it is full within 15 seconds (a flow rate of about 20 L/min and a dynamic pressure of more than 0.15 MPa), it is qualified.
  • Solutions: If the water pressure is insufficient, you can choose a "zero water pressure" model with a water tank or install a booster pump to increase the water pressure.

4. Floor Condition Treatment
The floor should be clean, dry, and flat. Otherwise, it will cause the toilet base to be suspended and the glass glue seal to fail:

  • Testing Method: Check with a level. If the deviation exceeds 3 mm, level it with cement mortar to ensure no water leakage or mold risk during long-term use.
