How to Install Water and Electricity for Mobile Toilets
The installation of water and electricity for mobile toilets should be carried out in combination with the specific type. Taking water-circulating mobile toilets as an example, the installation process and key points are as follows:

I. Pre-installation Preparation
Site Survey and Location Selection
It is necessary to assess whether the site has access to electricity, as the water-circulating treatment system relies on electric power. For example, if the location is in a remote area without a power supply, it is essential to plan in advance for a generator or solar power solution. At the same time, the flatness of the ground should be confirmed to avoid abnormal equipment operation or misaligned pipe connections due to tilting.Equipment Inspection
Check whether water and electricity-related components such as wires, control panels, and water-circulating main units are complete, and confirm that the installation drawings match the on-site environment. For example, check whether the wire specifications meet the power requirements of the equipment (e.g., the water-circulating main unit requires 3×2.5mm² copper wires) to avoid safety hazards caused by insufficient wire diameter.
II. Water and Electricity System Installation
Electric Installation
- Main Unit Environmental Requirements: The water-circulating treatment main unit requires reserved space for operation and maintenance (recommended ≥0.6 meters). The installation environment should be well-ventilated and avoid dampness or high temperatures (e.g., keep away from boiler rooms or areas exposed to direct sunlight).
- Wire Fixing and Connection: It is recommended to fix the plug to the back of the equipment with beauty paper for quick location during power outages. The battery and plug should remain connected to avoid data loss or abnormal system restarts due to power failures.
Water Installation
- Inlet Pipe: Connect the external water supply pipe to the toilet inlet valve and water storage tank. Install a filter (pore size ≤50μm) at the inlet end to prevent clogging by impurities. Check the tightness of the connections (soap water can be used to test for air leaks).
- Internal Circulation Pipes: Connect the toilet, collection tank, water-circulating main unit, and clean water tank according to the flow diagram. Ensure that the pipe routing is reasonable (avoid sharp bends or sagging) and that the connections are well-sealed (using special clamps or hot-melt connections). For example, the toilet sewage pipe should maintain a slope of 1%-2% to prevent sewage backflow.
III. General Precautions
- Smart Toilet Mobile Toilets: During installation, water and electricity must be cut off. Wrap the Teflon tape (at least 3 turns) and ground the wire (grounding resistance ≤4Ω) to prevent electric shock or circuit corrosion by water stains.
- Sewage Outlet Treatment: The sewage outlet should be cut 10 centimeters flush with the connection, and the wall bolts should be 6 centimeters away from the wall. Mark the excess part, cut it, and then put it back with waterproof silicone to ensure tightness.
- Other Types: The water and electricity installation of ordinary mobile toilets may involve basic configurations such as light bulb sockets and exhaust fans, but it is necessary to refer to the specific product manual to avoid equipment damage caused by improper operation.
Tip: Water and electricity installation should be carried out by professionals. After installation, a power-on trial run (≥2 hours) and a water pressure test (0.2-0.6MPa) should be conducted to ensure the stable operation of the system.
