Mobile Toilet Water and Electricity Installation
Admin September 24, 2026
The installation of water and electricity for mobile toilets should be carried out in accordance with standardized procedures. The specific steps and precautions are as follows:

I. Pre-installation Preparation
- Site Confirmation: Communicate with the client in advance to determine the installation location, avoiding low-lying areas prone to water accumulation, high-voltage power lines, and obstacle-filled zones. Measure the site dimensions to ensure that the width of the toilet access passage is ≥1.2 meters and reserve sufficient operating space.
- Equipment Inspection: Upon arrival, check the quantity, model, and accessories of the mobile toilets. Ensure that there is no damage to the exterior and that internal facilities (such as the flushing system and sewage outlet) are intact.
- Tools and Personnel: Equip with tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and spirit levels, and arrange 2-3 professional installers. If the toilets are large in volume or heavy in weight, coordinate with lifting equipment such as cranes for assistance in handling.
II. Water and Electricity Installation Steps
- Sewage Pipe Connection: Connect the sewage pipe to the nearest sewer or designated sewage collection bucket, ensuring that the pipe slope is ≥2% to prevent sewage backflow or blockage.
- Water Supply Connection: Use a water pipe with a diameter ≥DN20 to connect to the water source and test the flushing function and drainage seal. Check whether the flushing pressure meets the standard and whether there are any leaks at the drainage outlet.
III. Main Body Installation and Fixing
- Lifting and Leveling: Lift the toilet main body to the designated position and use a spirit level to adjust the equipment to be level, with a deviation not exceeding 3mm.
- Equipment Fixing: Secure the equipment with expansion bolts or counterweights to prevent tipping. In areas with strong winds, strengthen the fixing measures, such as adding ground anchors or windbreak ropes.
IV. Post-installation Inspection and Testing
- Detail Refinement: Install accessories such as door curtains and anti-slip mats. Check whether the door lock and flushing button are flexible, clean and disinfect the interior, and place consumables such as air fresheners and toilet paper.
- Function Testing:
- Flush Testing: Press the flushing button 3 times continuously to ensure smooth drainage without blockage.
- Load-bearing Testing: Evenly step on the top of the equipment to check its structural stability.
- Acceptance and Instructions: Provide the client with an Equipment Installation Acceptance Form, indicating the installation date, warranty period, and usage instructions.
V. Safety Requirements
- Work at Heights: If work at heights is required, a safety harness must be worn. Work is prohibited in windy weather with a wind speed of ≥5 levels.
- Fire Prevention Measures: Keep away from fire sources. Smoking or the use of open-flame equipment inside the toilet is prohibited.
- Construction Site Management: Mark off warning areas to prevent unauthorized personnel from approaching. For night construction, provide sufficient lighting and install reflective strips to enhance visibility.
Strictly following the above steps can ensure the safe and efficient installation of water and electricity for mobile toilets and extend the service life of the equipment.
