Mobile Toilet Washing Machine

Admin October 06, 2026

Placing a washing machine in a mobile toilet can be achieved through various design ideas, requiring optimization through space planning, functional integration, and moisture-proof and drainage measures.

I. Space Integration Solutions

  1. All-in-One Mobile Bathroom: Some mobile bathrooms adopt a modular design with dimensions of 1.6 meters × 2 meters, integrating a sink, toilet, shower, bathroom heater, and water heater, while also reserving water inlet and outlet connections for a washing machine. This design maximizes space utilization through functional stacking, allowing users to complete laundry, toilet, and bathing needs directly within the bathroom, suitable for temporary event venues or compact living spaces.
  2. Vertical Utilization and Nested Installation: For small-space toilets, a strategy of "vertical utilization + functional integration" can be employed. For example, a custom-made sink cabinet with a height of 60 cm can have a front-loading washing machine embedded at the bottom, with the countertop space serving both for washing up and folding clothes. This solution reduces floor space occupation through tiered design while maintaining operational convenience.

II. Special Layout Optimization

  1. Narrow and Long Bathroom Adaptation: If the bathroom is narrow and long, it is recommended to place the washing machine flush against the wall behind the door, leaving a 45 cm aisle for adults to pass sideways. When paired with a sliding door, an ultra-thin washing machine with a body thickness of less than 50 cm should be selected, and the installation position should maintain a safety distance of more than 10 cm from the door track to prevent door obstruction.
  2. Wall-Mounted Breakthrough: Brands like Dayou offer 7 kg wall-mounted washing machines that can be installed on load-bearing walls, requiring a wall thickness of at least 23 cm. These models free up floor space through hanging design, suitable for mobile toilets with height restrictions, but the structural stability of the wall must be confirmed in advance.

III. Flexible Area Utilization

  1. Mezzanine Storage Platform: A 20 cm high step can be set up outside the dry-wet separated shower area, with a built-in drainage system forming a natural storage platform. The washing machine can be placed on top of the step, utilizing vertical space while reducing moisture exposure through dry-wet separation.
  2. Mirror Cabinet Extension Design: In Japanese designs, a common 1.8-meter-high mirror cabinet can have the lower 60 cm space embedded with a washing machine, with the upper part continuing to store toiletries. This solution enhances space efficiency through three-dimensional storage while maintaining visual tidiness.

IV. Moisture-Proof and Drainage Measures

  1. Floor Treatment: It is recommended to lay non-slip tiles with a 1% slope at the bottom of the washing machine to guide water flow to the floor drain and prevent water accumulation. The power outlet should be an IP44 waterproof type and positioned 15 cm higher than the water inlet valve to prevent short circuits caused by water splashing.
  2. Drainage System Optimization: Priority should be given to selecting forced-drainage washing machines, whose drainage pumps can overcome a certain height difference to prevent overflow caused by elevated drainage pipes. When renovating old pipes, a check valve should be installed to prevent sewage backflow and ensure drainage stability.
