Admin September 21, 2026

The warranty period for mobile toilets varies depending on the type and regulations, typically ranging from 1 to 5 years, with some special cases extending up to 20 years. The warranty period starts from the date of completion and acceptance.

Warranty Period Specified by Regulations

According to the 'Regulations on the Administration of Construction Project Quality', the warranty period for mobile toilets is specified as follows:

  • Different projects have different durations: For infrastructure projects, foundation and main structure projects of building constructions, the warranty period is the reasonable service life specified in the design documents. For parts such as roof waterproofing projects and toilets with waterproofing requirements, the warranty period is 5 years. For electrical pipelines, water supply and drainage pipelines, equipment installation, and other parts, the warranty period is 2 years.
  • Warranty period start time: It starts from the date of completion and acceptance.
  • Responsibilities during the warranty period: During the warranty period, if there are quality issues with the mobile toilet, the construction unit shall fulfill its warranty obligations and bear the compensation liability arising from the quality issues.

Manufacturer's Warranty Policy

The warranty policies for mobile toilets from different manufacturers have both similarities and differences:

  • Warranty duration: Generally, it ranges from 1 to 3 years. Mobile toilets with a simple structure and good quality may offer a 1-year warranty, while those with higher quality and more complex craftsmanship may have a warranty period of up to 3 years.
  • Warranty scope: Problems such as cracking and deformation of the main structure under normal use are usually covered by the warranty. Internal facilities such as toilets and washbasins that are damaged due to quality issues are also covered. However, damage caused by human factors, natural disasters, and other force majeure events is not covered by the warranty.
  • Warranty process: After discovering a problem, users should promptly contact the manufacturer and provide information such as the product model, purchase date, and fault details. The manufacturer will arrange for professionals to evaluate and determine whether it falls within the warranty scope. If it does, they will arrange for repairs or replacement of parts as soon as possible.

Special Cases

There are also prefabricated toilets with a warranty period of up to twenty years and lifetime services, but such cases are relatively rare and usually require meeting specific technical standards and quality requirements.
