Mobile Toilet Ventilation Net
The design of the mobile toilet ventilation net needs to comprehensively consider the position of the exhaust outlet, the direction of the ventilation duct, the selection and installation of the fan, and auxiliary measures for odor control to achieve efficient ventilation and odor control.

1. Design of the Exhaust Outlet Position
The exhaust outlet should be located away from areas where people are active to prevent the direct spread of odors. It is generally recommended to install it on the top of the toilet or high up on the side wall, at a height of more than 1.8 meters above the ground, to ensure that it does not interfere with pedestrian operations and avoids direct sunlight and rain. For example, installation on the top can take advantage of the principle of hot air rising to accelerate exhaust, while installation high up on the side wall requires avoiding windows or vents to prevent odor backflow. In addition, the exhaust outlet needs to be equipped with rain-proof louvers and insect screens to prevent rainwater intrusion and insect entry, thereby extending the service life of the equipment.
2. Optimization of the Ventilation Duct Direction
The duct layout should follow the principle of being "short, straight, and smooth" to reduce the number of bends and connections and lower air resistance. If the toilet has a split structure, the exhaust fan can be installed in an independent ventilation module and connected to the exhaust ports of each compartment through PVC ducts. The diameter of the ducts is recommended to be no less than 10 centimeters to ensure smooth air circulation. For example, a straight duct design can reduce airflow loss, while bends should use large-radius arc transitions to avoid a decrease in wind speed caused by right-angle turns.
3. Fan Selection and Installation Specifications
The fan should be selected based on the number of toilet compartments, choosing an axial fan or centrifugal fan with appropriate power. For a single toilet compartment, a device with an air volume of 15-20 cubic meters per minute is usually sufficient to meet the demand. During installation, maintenance space should be reserved, the fan body should be horizontally calibrated to avoid vibration noise, and rain-proof louvers and insect screens should be installed. For example, the mobile toilets of Anhui Zhisheng Environmental Protection Engineering Co., Ltd. use top-mounted bidirectional ventilation fans combined with adjustable side-wall louvers. Through the principle of negative pressure, they accelerate air circulation and are equipped with built-in activated carbon filter layers and negative ion generators to further purify the air.
4. Auxiliary Measures for Odor Control
In addition to the main exhaust system, activated carbon adsorption devices or deodorizing liquid sprays can be used to form a double defense. The internal ventilation fan can be designed with an "upper supply and lower exhaust" airflow pattern, utilizing the principle of hot air rising to accelerate the expulsion of stale air. During daily use, the filter screen at the exhaust outlet needs to be cleaned regularly to prevent dust blockage from affecting ventilation efficiency. For example, some smart mobile toilets have automatic sensing functions. When the internal odor concentration exceeds the standard, they will automatically increase the ventilation frequency to ensure a comfortable environment.
