Mobile Toilet (Translation of 'Ce')
A mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and placed in fixed or temporary locations to provide toilet services for the public and customers.

I. Basic Components A mobile toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and moving device, among other parts. These components work together to ensure that it has complete toilet functions while meeting the need for mobility. For example, the fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect and treat excrement, the sanitary ware provides basic tools for using the toilet, and the moving device ensures that it can be easily transported and arranged.
II. Classification Methods
- By structural form: Mobile toilets can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single structure is relatively simple and independent, while the composite structure may be composed of multiple parts and has more complex and diverse functions.
- By moving method: They can be classified as lifting and handling mobile toilets and powered and towed mobile toilets. Lifting and handling types mainly rely on external equipment for movement, while powered and towed types have their own power or can be towed for movement, suitable for different transportation scenarios and distances.
- By sewage treatment method: There are water-flush and waterless suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. The water-flush type is similar to traditional toilets, using water to flush excrement; the waterless suction type uses a suction device to treat feces; the circulating water-flush type recycles the flushing water to save water resources; and the dry-packing type packs and collects feces without the need for water flushing.
III. Main Features Mobile toilets have significant advantages such as mobility, combinability, and convenient transportation. They can be easily transported to any location where a toilet needs to be installed, whether it is a large-scale event site, a construction site, or a remote area, and can quickly provide toilet services. Moreover, they can be used repeatedly, reducing usage costs. For example, a mobile public toilet in a new Chinese style has a total of six squatting positions, with three in the men's toilet and a public washing area in the middle. The exterior material is metal carved panels, and the steel structure frame is welded. It can be used outdoors for more than 15 years and is equipped with water and electricity. There is also a mobile toilet with an integrated structure, featuring an integrated outer shell and a reinforced chassis, an internal vacuum squatting pan, and pneumatic flushing. It only requires 1 liter of water per flush, saving 80% compared to ordinary toilets.
