Mobile Toilet

A mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It consists of components such as a fecal sewage storage tank, sanitary ware, and walls. There are various types and features, suitable for multiple venues, and there are also homemade and customized versions.

• Composition and Materials: Mobile toilets are generally composed of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), flooring, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. Initially made from materials like wood, they had simple structures and functions and were prone to absorbing odors. Later, they gradually evolved to use materials such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene.

  • By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets.
  • By mobility method: They are classified into hoisting and handling mobile toilets, and powered and towed mobile toilets.
  • By sewage treatment method: They are categorized into water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flushing mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets.
• Features: They can be conveniently transported to any location where a toilet needs to be set up and can be used repeatedly. They have the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport.
• Suitable Venues: They are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. For example, in 2023, mobile toilets were gradually installed and put into use in the scenic area along the Yellow River in Lanzhou.
• Homemade and Customized:
  • Homemade: A young man used a water storage tank and a pallet to make a movable toilet. First, he fixed universal wheels at the bottom of the pallet, placed and treated the water storage tank, installed a toilet, a faucet, a washbasin, a showerhead, and other facilities, and finally made and installed a door.
  • Customized: Customized mobile toilets have separate male and female areas. The overall steel structure frame is firmly welded and durable. They use gray and white metal carved panels for insulation, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance. There are light-admitting and ventilating sliding windows in the front, equipped with male and female signs and gray aluminum alloy exterior doors, forming independent rooms.
