Mobile Toilet

Admin September 20, 2026

A mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It has the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport, making it suitable for various places. Moreover, it comes in multiple structural forms, mobility methods, and sewage treatment approaches.

Composition of Mobile Toilets

Mobile toilets generally consist of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobility devices. On the market, there are also mobile toilets with shower rooms, such as outdoor mobile toilets with shower rooms and high-end municipal camp portable public toilets with shower rooms, which can meet more diverse needs.

Classification of Mobile Toilets

  • By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure mobile toilets are relatively simple and independent, while composite-structure ones may be composed of multiple parts and may have richer functions.
  • By mobility method: They are classified into lifting and handling mobile toilets and powered and towed mobile toilets. Lifting and handling mobile toilets may require lifting equipment for movement, while powered and towed mobile toilets have their own power or can be moved by vehicle towing.
  • By sewage treatment method: They are categorized into water-flush and waterless-flush suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Water-flush and waterless-flush suction mobile toilets treat fecal sewage through water flushing or suction; circulating water-flush mobile toilets can recycle water to save water resources; dry-packing mobile toilets dry-pack feces for treatment.

Characteristics and Suitable Places of Mobile Toilets

Mobile toilets can be conveniently transported to any place where toilets need to be installed and can be used repeatedly. They are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets, effectively solving the temporary or permanent toilet needs in these places.
