Mobile Toilet Toilet Size

Admin October 08, 2026

The size of toilets in mobile toilets varies depending on the type, as detailed below:

I. Standard Toilets The seat height of a standard toilet is typically 400mm, designed in accordance with ergonomic principles to facilitate sitting and standing. In terms of length, dimensions suitable for small spaces are approximately 580mm, while larger spaces can accommodate sizes up to 720-750mm, with an average range concentrated around 680-700mm. The width is generally 380-400mm, ensuring sufficient lateral movement space during use. The height of the water tank is divided into low-rise (630-680mm) and high-rise (700-750mm) types, which can be selected based on the overall height requirements of the mobile toilet.

II. Wall-Mounted Toilets Wall-mounted toilets are characterized by their space-saving design, with a height range of 310-350mm, commonly found at 310-320mm, suitable for mobile toilets with lower ceiling height requirements. The length is approximately 500-580mm, and the width ranges from 340-380mm. The distance from the floor (seat to ground) is about 400mm, and it is important to ensure sufficient legroom during installation.

III. Smart Toilets Smart toilets, due to their integrated electronic components, are slightly larger than standard toilets. The length is approximately 670-680mm, the width is 380-430mm, and the height ranges from 460-550mm. When selecting, ensure that the clear height of the mobile toilet meets the installation requirements and that maintenance space is reserved.

IV. Space Layout Standards

  1. Spacing Requirements: The minimum spacing on both sides of the toilet should be 750mm, with a standard range of 800-900mm to avoid restricting user movement.
  2. Toilet Compartment Size: The length is recommended to be 1350mm or more, and the width should be at least 800-900mm to ensure sufficient space for opening the door and turning around.
  3. Door Size: The door width should be 600mm or more to facilitate the entry and exit of wheelchairs or equipment.
  4. Front Space: 600-650mm should be reserved in front of the toilet to ensure normal door opening and use.
  5. Activity Space: The minimum activity area for the toilet compartment is 900mm×1100mm, with 450-500mm reserved in front, 200-250mm on both sides, a recommended seat height of 350-400mm, and a reserved pit distance of 300-400mm to accommodate different drainage methods.

V. Overall Size Reference The minimum overall length of a mobile toilet is 620mm, and the height is 750mm. However, adjustments should be made based on the type of toilet and space layout standards to ensure functionality and comfort.
