Mobile Toilet Toilet Position and Size

Admin September 29, 2026

Key points regarding the position and size of the toilet in mobile toilets are as follows:

Displacement range of toilet shifters

Toilet shifters are commonly used tools for changing the position of a toilet. Their typical displacement range is usually between 2 cm and 15 cm. Common specifications on the market include 5 cm, 10 cm, and 15 cm, which can meet the needs of most small-scale adjustments to the toilet position. However, there are also some special models of toilet shifters that claim to achieve longer displacement distances, up to 3 meters. But long-distance displacement comes with many problems, such as insufficient drainage slope, which can lead to difficulties in sewage discharge and frequent blockages; increased complexity of the pipeline, making installation and maintenance more difficult; and higher installation difficulty, requiring more professional skills and tools. Therefore, professionals generally recommend keeping the displacement distance within 15 cm to ensure the stability of toilet use and smooth drainage.

Distance from the wall to the center of the toilet

There are two common specifications for the distance from the wall to the center of the toilet: approximately 43 cm or 33 cm. When determining this distance, the factor of tile installation needs to be considered. Since tiles are usually installed on the side adjacent to the wall, and the thickness of the tiles is generally controlled at around 3 cm. After the tiles are installed, distances of approximately 30 cm and 40 cm will be formed, which are exactly the suitable installation distances for the toilet. This design not only ensures an appropriate spacing between the installed toilet and the wall for convenient use but also makes the overall layout more aesthetically pleasing and reasonable.

Distance on both sides of the toilet

It is best to have a distance of more than 25 cm on both sides of the toilet. Sufficient space on both sides can ensure that users have a comfortable activity space when using the toilet, avoiding a cramped feeling due to limited space. At the same time, an appropriate distance on both sides is also conducive to daily cleaning and maintenance, making it easier to use tools to clean around the toilet and keep the bathroom clean.
