Tile Adhesion for Mobile Toilets
For tile adhesion in mobile toilets, the floor should be tiled first, followed by the walls, and a specialized tile adhesive should be used when adhering squat toilets. The specific operations are as follows:

Floor Tile Adhesion: This should be done first because the floor bears greater weight and load. Tiling the walls first would increase the risk of cracks appearing during floor tile adhesion. Before construction, thoroughly clean the floor to remove oil stains, dust, and other impurities, ensuring a flat base. Use a level to confirm the floor's flatness. If there are height differences, use cement mortar for leveling to prevent tile hollowing or cracking. After cleaning and trimming the floor, gradually adhere the tiles from the inside to the outside of the room. Use a rubber mallet to gently tap to ensure the tiles are fully bonded to the base, and use a straightedge to check for flatness.
Wall Tile Adhesion: After the floor tiles have cured (usually more than 24 hours), adhere the wall tiles layer by layer from the bottom up. Before construction, clean the walls to remove floating dust, oil stains, etc., and use a level and chalk line to mark the starting position and laying lines for each layer of tiles, ensuring verticality and flatness. Start adhering from the corner or a prominent position, using a notched trowel to evenly apply tile adhesive to both the wall and the back of the tiles, forming striped patterns to increase bonding strength. During adhesion, use a level at all times to check and prevent tile tilting or misalignment, while paying attention to the transition between wall tiles and floor tiles to ensure uniform gaps.
Squat Toilet Adhesion: If adhering a squat toilet to tiles, a specialized tile adhesive (such as Xilejia Strong Tile Adhesive, Ouliya Strong Tile Adhesive, or Shengguang Tile Adhesive) must be used. Its high bonding strength and waterproof and moisture-proof properties can prevent detachment due to long-term moisture exposure or load-bearing. The construction steps include:
- Base Treatment: Clean the installation area of the squat toilet and the back of the tiles to ensure there are no oil stains or loose materials.
- Mixing Adhesive: Mix the tile adhesive and water according to the product instructions, stirring until uniform and free of lumps.
- Applying Adhesive: Use a notched trowel to apply the adhesive evenly to both the base and the back of the tiles, forming a uniform adhesive layer.
- Adhering and Fixing: Press the tiles onto the base, slightly rotate to adjust the position, and tap firmly with a rubber mallet.
- Curing and Maintenance: After adhesion, let it stand for 24-48 hours (adjust according to ambient temperature), avoiding stepping on or applying force during this period. After adhesion, waterproof coating can be applied at the joints to further enhance waterproofing and extend service life.
