Mobile Toilet Tent Storage
There are several main methods for storing mobile toilet tents, and you can choose the appropriate one based on the specific model:

Method 1: Basic Folding Storage Method
This method is suitable for most mobile toilet tents with conventional structures. The operation steps are as follows:
- Retract the top structure: First, retract the top frame or canopy part of the toilet tent inward, ensuring that all movable connectors are in a relaxed state.
- Secure the bottom support: Use your feet to hold down the semi-circular fixing devices (such as ground stakes or anti-slip bases) at the bottom of the tent to keep the entire tent stable and prevent it from tipping over during storage.
- Press down on the main body: Hold the frames or canopies on both sides of the tent with both hands and slowly apply downward pressure to gradually compress the main body of the tent to a height close to the ground.
- Fold horizontally and push back: After the tent is compressed to the lowest point, grasp the frames on both sides with both hands and push them back towards the middle to form a flat structure. At this time, pay attention to the folding direction of the frames to avoid jamming or damaging the connectors.
- Organize the storage bag: Put the folded tent into the matching storage bag, ensuring that all components (such as frames, ground stakes, and canopies) are in place to avoid omissions.
Method 2: Two-Step Quick Folding Method (General Simplified Version)
Some mobile toilet tents are designed with a quick folding function. Although the specific steps are not detailed, you can refer to the following general logic:
- Release the locking devices: Check the connection points of the tent frames for any rotatable or pop-up locking buttons and unlock them all to allow the frames to move freely.
- Lift and fold the entire tent: Hold the top sides of the tent with both hands, lift it upward while squeezing it towards the middle. Use the elasticity of the frames or the preset folding structure to automatically contract the tent into a compact shape, and then put it into the storage bag.
Method 3: Brand-Specific Storage Method (Taking Naturehike as an example)
For folding changing tents (some models can also serve as mobile toilets) from brands like Naturehike, it is recommended to operate in the following way:
- Refer to video tutorials: Since brand tents may have unique folding designs (such as hidden frames or segmented structures), it is necessary to watch the official or merchant-provided video tutorials first to master the specific folding sequence and techniques.
- Follow the steps in practice: The videos usually demonstrate how to first retract the top canopy, then fold the frames, and finally compress the overall volume. It is essential to strictly follow the demonstrated steps to avoid the frames getting stuck or the canopy tearing due to incorrect sequence.
- Use accessories for assistance: Some brand tents come with dedicated storage ropes or fixing straps. After folding, you can use them to tie up the tent to prevent it from coming apart during transportation.
Precautions: Before storage, ensure that the inside of the tent is dry to prevent mold growth. If the tent is stained, clean it before folding. For long-term storage, regularly check whether the storage bag is intact to prevent the components from getting damp or lost.
