Folding Skills for Mobile Toilet Tents

Admin October 09, 2026

Here are the folding skills for mobile toilet tents:

Step 1: Initially Collapse the Tent Structure
First, initially collapse the top or movable support parts of the mobile toilet tent. If the tent is equipped with a detachable canopy or sunshade, remove it or fold it into the main structure to avoid interfering with the main folding process during subsequent operations. The purpose of this step is to reduce the overall volume of the tent and provide a basis for subsequent compression.

Step 2: Secure the Bottom Support Points
Step on the semi-circular support structure at the bottom of the tent (usually a metal or hard plastic frame) with your feet to ensure it remains stable. This action prevents the tent from tipping over due to bottom sliding during the folding process and provides a stable reaction force for compressing the upper structure. If the bottom of the tent is designed with foldable brackets, first check whether the brackets are unlocked to avoid damage from forced operation.

Step 3: Compress the Upper Main Body
Hold the center position (or clearly marked compression point) at the top of the tent with both hands and slowly apply downward pressure to gradually bring the main body of the tent closer to the semi-circular structure at the bottom. Maintain even pressure during this process to avoid local overstressing that could deform the frame. If the tent is equipped with elastic ropes or spring devices, you may encounter some resistance during compression. Continue applying force until the top and bottom are fully aligned.

Step 4: Fold the Side Frames
After the main body of the tent is compressed into place, use both hands to grasp the frames on both sides of the tent (usually movable metal rods) and push them towards the center to fold the side frames inward. Pay attention to the folding direction of the frames in this step to ensure they align with the storage slots or buckles at the bottom of the tent and avoid misalignment that could prevent full folding. If there are connecting buckles or locking devices between the frames, operate them simultaneously during the pushing process to secure the folded shape.

Step 5: Complete the Bottom Storage
Finally, push the folded side frames along with the semi-circular structure at the bottom inward until the entire tent forms a compact, flat shape. At this point, check whether all parts of the tent are fully stored with no exposed brackets or fabric. If the tent is equipped with a storage bag or straps, place it in the bag or secure it with the straps to prevent it from coming apart during transportation.

Precautions:

  • Clear debris inside and outside the tent before folding to prevent sand, stones, branches, etc., from getting stuck in the frame gaps.
  • Try to choose a flat and solid ground for operation to prevent the tent from tipping over or sliding.
  • If you encounter resistance during the folding process, do not force it. First, check whether any parts are unlocked or stuck.
