Mobile Toilet Technical Document
Admin September 21, 2026
The mobile toilet technical document mainly covers standards, technical parameters, internal facility configurations, and industry norms, as detailed below:

I. Relevant Standards
- Q/NNJ-002-2020 Standard: Developed by Xinjiang Niannianjia Municipal Gardening Co., Ltd., this standard was issued and implemented in 2020 with a validity period of three years. It specifies the terminology definitions, model parameters, basic requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for mobile toilets, applicable to the company's products. It also references national standards such as GB/T191 and GB4706.1 as technical bases.
- CJ/T 378-2011 Portable Toilet Standard: Issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and implemented in 2012, this standard defines portable toilets as small sanitary facilities that are movable or easy to transport. It covers classification markings, technical requirements (such as structural safety, sanitary conditions, and environmental adaptability), test methods (such as durability and waterproofing tests), and storage and transportation norms.
II. Technical Parameters
- Appearance and Structure: Dimensions must balance transportation constraints (such as vehicle loading) with usable space; weight is influenced by the main materials (such as high-strength steel + lightweight wall panels); materials must meet requirements for corrosion resistance, fire resistance, and moisture resistance. Common wall materials include metal carved panels or color-coated steel composite panels, and floors must be slip-resistant and wear-resistant.
- Internal Functions: Toilet compartments should consider water conservation and cleanliness (such as sensor-activated toilets); handwashing facilities should be equipped with sensor faucets and hand dryers, with installation heights conforming to ergonomic standards; waste disposal methods are diverse, including water-saving flush types (focusing on flush volume), waterless packing types (focusing on sealing), and biodegradable types (focusing on bacterial efficiency).
- Environmental Adaptability: The operating temperature range must be specified to ensure stable operation under extreme cold or heat conditions.
III. Internal Facility Configurations
- Core Sanitary Ware: Toilet systems primarily use straight-discharge or vacuum collection systems, with high-end configurations featuring ceramic squat toilets with automatic flushing; handwashing basins are typically made of stainless steel or ceramic and equipped with hot and cold water mixing faucets; urinals are mostly sensor-activated.
- Auxiliary Functions: Lighting uses LED moisture-proof lamps, and ventilation relies on powerful exhaust fans; walls and floors are made of fiberglass or metal panels and slip-resistant PVC flooring, respectively; insulation layers and electric heaters are required in cold regions.
- Extended Configurations: Customizable barrier-free facilities (such as widened doors and low-positioned handwashing basins), smart systems (such as remote monitoring and smart toilet seats), and sewage collection tanks (with capacities ranging from 500 to 1000 liters) are available.
IV. Industry Standards and Precautions According to the CJ/T 132-2018 Integrated Toilet standard, internal facilities must meet requirements for water-saving faucets, IPX4 waterproof electrical components, a minimum clear height of 2.0 meters, and anti-jamming door locks. When purchasing, it is essential to confirm the dimensions of the sewage discharge interface (DN110), power supply (220V/380V), and water supply interface (DN15/DN20) to ensure compatibility with on-site piping networks.
