Mobile Toilet Structure Dimensions

Admin September 22, 2026

The structural dimensions of mobile toilets vary depending on the type and usage scenario, with common specifications as follows:

I. Internal Dimensions Classified by User Capacity

  1. Single-Person Standard Type: Length 1.2-1.5 meters, width 0.8-1.0 meters, height 2.2-2.4 meters. Some designs may extend to a length of 1.1-1.5 meters, width of 1.0-1.2 meters, and a minimum height of 2.2 meters. These dimensions are suitable for scenarios with limited space and single-person use, such as temporary events or small construction sites.
  2. Double-Person Standard Type: Length 1.8-2.2 meters, width 1.0-1.2 meters, height 2.2-2.4 meters. By increasing the length and width, it can accommodate two people simultaneously, making it suitable for medium-sized public places.
  3. Barrier-Free Type: Length 2.0-2.4 meters, width 1.2-1.5 meters, height 2.2-2.4 meters. Its design must meet the turning requirements of wheelchairs, with more spacious interior space to ensure convenience for individuals with mobility impairments.
  4. Luxury Type: Length 2.5-3.0 meters, width 1.5-2.0 meters, height 2.4-2.6 meters. These toilets are usually equipped with independent sinks, air conditioners, and other facilities, suitable for high-end venues or long-term usage scenarios.

II. Specialized Dimensions for Functional Areas

  1. Squat Toilet Stalls: The dimensions of a single squat toilet stall are 1.00-1.20 meters (length) × 0.85-1.20 meters (width), with sufficient space reserved for user movement and cleaning.
  2. Urinal Stalls: The dimensions of a single urinal stall, including the urinal, are 0.70 meters (depth) × 0.65 meters (width). The spacing between independent urinals should be maintained at 0.80 meters to avoid usage conflicts and ensure privacy.

III. Special Design Cases Some prefabricated mobile restrooms adopt a modular design, such as a model with dimensions of 2.5 meters (length) × 6.5 meters (width), internally divided into three independent areas (e.g., men's restroom, women's restroom, management room). Through reasonable zoning, usage efficiency is improved. Such designs are mostly used for large-scale events or long-term fixed venues.

IV. Design Considerations The dimensions of mobile toilets must comprehensively consider transportation convenience, user comfort, and site adaptability. For example, narrow spaces may choose single-person or foldable designs, while high-traffic areas need to prioritize ensuring the width of aisles and queuing areas. Additionally, barrier-free design must strictly adhere to relevant regulations to ensure compatibility with auxiliary facilities such as ramps and handrails.
