Mobile Toilet Storage Tank

Admin October 13, 2026

The mobile toilet storage tank is essentially a movable toilet transformed from a repurposed water storage tank, involving processes such as cutting, assembly, pipe installation, and fixture securing.

Fabrication Materials and Basic Structure

The core material for constructing a mobile toilet storage tank is a water storage tank retrieved from a waste station, which must be structurally intact and free from severe damage. During fabrication, the top section of the tank is cut along marked lines to create an open-top container as the main space. Another open-top water storage tank is then inverted and stacked on top of the first container, with the outer frame secured using self-tapping screws to form a double-layered sealed structure. This design utilizes the cylindrical space of the water storage tank while increasing the interior height through stacking, providing a foundation for subsequent fixture installations.

Doorway and Internal Pipe Handling

A rectangular opening measuring 180 centimeters in height and 50 centimeters in width is cut into the side of the container to serve as the doorway, with dimensions tailored to accommodate personnel entry and exit. The interior floor requires a hole to be cut for inserting an elbow joint connected to a water pipe, guiding sewage flow to an external drainage system or sewage storage device. After hole cutting, the gaps must be sealed with sealant or waterproof material to prevent sewage leakage. The toilet must be aligned with the drainage outlet and secured using glass glue or specialized sealant to ensure smooth drainage and prevent odor leakage.

Fixture Installation and Functional Enhancement

Clamps must be installed on the walls to secure water pipes, preventing pipe movement or detachment. The faucet is mounted on the interior wall of the container at a user-friendly height, typically 80-100 centimeters from the floor. The sink is crafted from a stainless steel basin and fixed onto a pipe cap, which must be tightly connected to the water pipe to prevent leaks. Additionally, lighting equipment (such as LED lights), ventilation devices (such as small exhaust fans), or storage shelves can be added based on demand to enhance user comfort.

Safety and Practical Considerations

During fabrication, all cutting edges must be smoothed to prevent injuries; self-tapping screws must be securely fastened to prevent container separation; and pipe connections must be tightly sealed to prevent sewage leakage. The transformed mobile toilet storage tank can be applied in temporary events, construction sites, or remote areas, offering advantages such as low cost, mobility, and ease of maintenance. However, regular sewage cleaning and facility inspections are necessary to ensure long-term safe use.
