How to Store Mobile Toilets
The storage of mobile toilets should follow standardized procedures to ensure hygiene, safety, and ease of subsequent use. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Immediate Handling After Use
After use, the excreta collection device should be sealed immediately. If the toilet is equipped with a dedicated garbage bag or collection bag, the bag opening should be tightly tied to prevent odor diffusion or pollutant leakage. For models with a lid design, the lid should be closed promptly to reduce odor overflow through physical barriers. This step is crucial for avoiding secondary pollution, with particular attention to the tightness of the seal to prevent residual gas or liquid leakage.
2. Proper Disposal of Excreta
The disposal of excreta should be selected according to the toilet type in compliance with regulations:
- Portable Toilets/Collection Bags: After defecation, add a coagulant or deodorant to solidify the excreta and suppress odors. Then, seal it in a dedicated garbage bag and dispose of it at designated disposal points according to waste classification requirements.
- Biodegradable Systems: For equipment such as 'vehicle-mounted packing toilets', microorganisms are used to decompose excreta into stable solids and liquids. The liquid should be discharged according to local regulations (e.g., poured into sewers), and the solid part should be recycled by professional agencies or treated harmlessly according to the instructions.
It is strictly prohibited to discharge untreated excreta directly into the natural environment to avoid polluting soil or water sources.
3. Equipment Cleaning and Deodorization
After removing the sealed waste, the toilet bowl or inner bucket should be thoroughly cleaned:
- Use a damp cloth with dish detergent or a dedicated cleaner to wipe the surface and remove residual stains;
- For stubborn stains, use a cleaner containing decontamination and sterilization ingredients, or adopt a natural combination of baking soda and white vinegar (mixed in a 1:1 ratio, applied, and wiped after standing for 5 minutes);
- If the equipment contains electronic components (e.g., a flushing device), avoid direct water flushing and only wipe the surface with a damp cloth;
- To prevent odors, a small amount of deodorizing gel or disinfectant pad can be placed in the inner bucket before each use to reduce odor production by continuously releasing antibacterial ingredients.
4. Drying and Inspection
After cleaning, ensure that all key parts are completely dry:
- Focus on drying areas prone to water accumulation, such as folding joints and around electronic components, to prevent bacterial growth or metal part rusting;
- Regularly inspect the stability of folding joints. If looseness is found, adjust or repair it promptly to avoid structural damage during storage.
5. Easy Storage
After the equipment is completely dry, select a storage method according to its type:
- Folding Toilets: Fold according to the design and lock the buckles to ensure that all parts fit tightly;
- Packing Toilets: Fold and place in a dedicated storage bag to avoid deformation caused by squeezing;
- Note: Observe the product's weight-bearing limit during storage to avoid structural damage or reduced service life due to overweight.
