Mobile Toilet Squatting Facilities

Admin October 06, 2026

The squatting facilities in mobile toilets vary due to differences in design, requirements, and sewage treatment methods.

In terms of basic configurations, mobile toilets with different numbers of squatting positions have distinct squatting facilities. Double-squatting-position mobile toilets are usually equipped with ceramic squat toilets. Ceramic material has a smooth surface and is easy to clean, which can well meet daily usage needs and has strong durability. Triple-squatting-position mobile toilets are fully equipped with water, electricity, and sanitary ware inside, including squatting facilities. These facilities not only meet basic usage functions but also pay attention to the rationality of the overall layout and the convenience of use, such as the spacing between squatting positions, to enhance the user experience.

To meet the needs of special groups, squatting facilities are also designed in a targeted manner. Taking the renovation of the public toilet on Xueyuan Road in Haizhou District, Lianyungang City as an example, child-specific squat toilets were set up according to the needs of different groups. Child-specific squat toilets are more suitable in size for children, preventing accidents caused by oversized squat toilets. At the same time, relevant supporting facilities are optimized, such as installing handrails at a height suitable for children to ensure their safety during use.

The sewage treatment method has a significant impact on the design and usage mode of squatting facilities in mobile toilets. The squatting facilities in flush-type mobile toilets are similar to those in ordinary toilets. They flush away excrement through water flow. The squat toilets usually have flush buttons or sensing devices, which are convenient to use and have good cleaning effects. The squatting facilities in non-flush suction-type mobile toilets are connected to containers for storing excrement below. The excrement is drawn out and treated through suction equipment. This type of facility does not require water and is suitable for areas with scarce water resources. The squatting facilities in circulating-water-flush-type mobile toilets are equipped with a water circulation system, which uses treated water for flushing, achieving water resource recycling. The design of the squat toilets takes into account their compatibility with the water circulation system. The squatting facilities in dry-packing-type mobile toilets have replaceable packing bags below. Excrement directly enters the packing bags without water flushing. After use, the packing bags are replaced. This type of facility is convenient for movement and cleaning.
