Types of Squat Toilets in Mobile Toilets
The squat toilets inside mobile toilets are mainly divided into five types: ceramic, stainless steel, fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP), water-saving, and barrier-free. Their characteristics and application scenarios are as follows:

1. Ceramic Squat Toilets
Made from high-temperature-fired ceramic material, they have a smooth surface and are corrosion-resistant, meeting the drainage design requirements of the national standard (GB/T 6952-2015). Their flush volume is typically 6-8 liters per use, suitable for fixed mobile toilets in municipal public restrooms, scenic spots, etc. Ceramic materials are highly durable, with a service life of over 10 years, but they are relatively heavy (about 25-30 kg per unit), requiring a stable installation structure.
2. Stainless Steel Squat Toilets
Constructed from 304/316 stainless steel (compliant with GB/T 3280 standard), they possess antibacterial properties and can bear loads exceeding 200 kg, making them ideal for high-frequency use scenarios such as construction sites and temporary event venues. To enhance safety, their surfaces are designed with anti-slip patterns (depth ≥ 3 mm) to prevent users from slipping. Stainless steel is highly corrosion-resistant, but prolonged exposure to acidic substances may cause slight oxidation, necessitating regular cleaning and maintenance.
3. Fiberglass-Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Squat Toilets
Made from glass fiber-reinforced plastic, they are 40% lighter than ceramic units (about 15-20 kg per unit), complying with the industry standard (JC/T 941-2016). Their lightweight nature makes them widely applicable in outdoor operations, RV toilets, etc. However, their surface hardness is relatively low (Barcol hardness ≥ 35), requiring protection from sharp objects. Additionally, FRP materials have poor weather resistance and may age when exposed to ultraviolet light or extreme temperatures for extended periods.
4. Water-Saving Squat Toilets
Utilizing a pressure flushing system, they control the water consumption per flush to less than 3 liters, meeting the water-saving standard (CJ/T 164-2014). Some high-end models incorporate foam sealing technology, which covers the toilet surface with foam to block odors and reduce flushing frequency. These toilets are suitable for water-scarce regions or scenarios with high environmental protection requirements, but they have higher initial installation costs and require regular replenishment of foam liquid.
5. Barrier-Free Squat Toilets
Manufactured in accordance with the barrier-free design specifications (GB50763-2012), they are equipped with L-shaped handrails (diameter 35-40 mm) and anti-slip platforms, with a clearance from the wall of ≥ 800 mm, facilitating use by the elderly and disabled individuals. Their design emphasizes safety and convenience, with handrails capable of withstanding loads exceeding 100 kg and anti-slip platforms having a surface friction coefficient ≥ 0.6. These toilets are commonly found in public places such as hospitals and nursing homes.
