Mobile Toilet Squat Toilet Installation Tutorial

Admin October 12, 2026

The installation tutorial for stainless steel waterless packing squat toilets in mobile toilets is divided into two methods: floor-standing bracket type and in-ground type. Here are the specific installation steps:

In-ground Type Installation Steps

  1. Waterproofing and Floor Preparation: Waterproofing is a crucial step in the installation of the in-ground type. The installation floor needs to be carefully treated to ensure it is level, providing a stable foundation for subsequent installation. Since the squat toilet will bear a certain weight after installation, an uneven floor may cause uneven force distribution, affecting its service life. Additionally, good waterproofing can prevent sewage from leaking into the ground and causing pollution to the surrounding environment.
  2. Fixed Steel Frame and Rubber Pad Installation: Use a fixed steel frame combined with rubber pads. The fixed steel frame supports the squat toilet, ensuring its stability during installation. The rubber pads serve as buffers and seals, reducing friction between the squat toilet and the steel frame, preventing noise during use, and preventing sewage leakage from the connections.
  3. Placing the Squat Toilet and Adjusting Levelness: Place the stainless steel waterless packing squat toilet at the installation position and use a leveling tool such as a spirit level to adjust its levelness. Ensuring that the squat toilet is level is crucial as it affects comfort during use and drainage effectiveness. If it is not level, sewage may not drain smoothly and may even accumulate. Note that the stainless steel shell should not be directly in contact with cement to prevent chemical substances in the cement from corroding the stainless steel, affecting its appearance and service life.

General Installation Steps (Applicable to Some Parts of Both Installation Methods)

  1. Pre-installation Inspection and Cleaning: Before installation, carefully check whether the sewage pipe is unobstructed. If the sewage pipe is blocked, the squat toilet will not function properly, and sewage will not drain. At the same time, clean the floor, especially around the sewage outlet, to remove debris and dust, ensuring a clean installation environment and preparing for subsequent installation work.
  2. Determining the Position of the Sewage Pipe: Based on the size of the squat toilet, determine the position of the sewage pipe to ensure it is compatible with the squat toilet and reserve the sewage pipe. Accurate positioning ensures a smooth connection between the squat toilet and the sewage pipe, preventing problems such as loose connections and water leakage.
  3. Flush Testing and Fixing: After installation is complete, conduct a flush test to check for leaks at the joints. If problems are found, such as poor sealing at the connections, resolve them promptly and reseal. After the flush test, fill the area around the squat toilet with filler material and apply about 1 centimeter of asphalt at the contact surface between the cement mortar and the ceramic to enhance sealing and waterproofing. After the installation is stable, flush again to confirm there are no leaks and ensure installation quality.
  4. Installing the Trap: When installing the pipeline, a trap needs to be installed. The function of the trap is to store a certain amount of water to form a water seal, preventing foul odors from the sewer from rising and avoiding unpleasant odors in the mobile toilet, enhancing the user experience.
