Mobile Toilet Specification

Admin September 27, 2026

The mobile toilet specification covers aspects such as scope of application, implementation standards, general requirements, structure and enclosure, dimensions and specifications, water supply and drainage and flushing systems, and electrical and lighting. The details are as follows:

In terms of the scope of application, it is suitable for the procurement, manufacturing, installation, and acceptance of single or multi-unit, water-flush, vacuum, biodegradable, and packaged mobile toilets in municipal, scenic, construction site, large-scale event, and emergency support scenarios.

The implementation standards include GB/T 37072 - 2018 'Mobile Toilets', CJJ 14 - 2016 'Design Standard for Urban Public Toilets', HJ 2029 - 2013 'Technical Requirements for Septic Tanks', GB 14554 - 93 'Emission Standard for Odor Pollutants', GB/T 42568 - 2023 'Waterproof Rating for Environmental Protection Equipment', as well as current national environmental protection, fire protection, and structural safety regulations.

Regarding general requirements, for structural safety, it features a light steel frame connected by overall welding or bolts, which can be hoisted, moved, and reused repeatedly, withstands wind speeds of at least 8 on the Beaufort scale, has an earthquake resistance of at least 6 degrees on the Richter scale, and has a service life of at least 10 years. For environmental protection and anti-seepage, the box body has a waterproof rating of at least IP65, the sewage storage tank has no leakage after 48 hours of closed-water testing, the odor concentration meets the standard, and there is no obvious odor within 1 meter. For water conservation and energy efficiency, the water consumption per flush for water-flush toilets is ≤1.5 liters, for vacuum toilets is ≤0.8 liters, and waterless toilets consume zero water. In terms of user-friendliness, it includes barrier-free, anti-slip, ventilation, lighting, emergency call, and easy-to-clean designs.

For the structure and enclosure, the main frame is made of Q235B hot-dip galvanized section steel, with a process of full welding or high-strength bolt connection, and can withstand a static load of 150 kg without deformation. There are multiple material options for the enclosure and roof exterior walls. The interior walls are easy to wipe and graffiti-resistant, the roof has a sloped design for waterproofing, and the doors are anti-theft and moisture-proof. The floor surface is wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, and the base layer is fully waterproof.

In terms of dimensions and specifications, the single-unit standard models have different exterior dimensions, and the multi-unit models (3 toilet stalls + a management room + a barrier-free stall) also have different exterior specifications. There are also different sizes for double-occupancy and barrier-free models.

For the water supply and drainage and flushing systems, there are requirements for the clean water tank and water inlet pipe for water supply. There are three flushing options: foot-pedal water-saving flush, vacuum negative-pressure flush, and waterless type. For sewage discharge and storage, there are requirements for the sewage storage tank, direct discharge, and anti-seepage.

Regarding electrical and lighting, there are relevant requirements for power supply, with different configurations for the interior and exterior.
