What are the Dimensions of Mobile Toilets

Admin September 21, 2026

The dimensions of mobile toilets vary depending on the type and usage scenario, with common specifications as follows:

Single-person standard type is the most basic type of mobile toilet, suitable for scenarios with low pedestrian traffic, such as temporary events or small construction sites. Its length typically ranges from 1.2 to 1.5 meters, width from 0.8 to 1.0 meters, and height from 2.2 to 2.4 meters. This size design ensures basic activity space for users while also considering the convenience of transportation and installation.

Double-person standard type is suitable for scenarios that need to accommodate two people simultaneously, such as tourist attractions or large event venues. Its length ranges from 1.8 to 2.2 meters, width from 1.0 to 1.2 meters, and height is the same as the single-person type, ranging from 2.2 to 2.4 meters. This size ensures comfort for two users while maintaining high space utilization.

Barrier-free type is specially designed for individuals with mobility impairments, meeting the needs for wheelchair access and turning. Its length ranges from 2.0 to 2.4 meters, width from 1.2 to 1.5 meters, and height from 2.2 to 2.4 meters. The interior space is larger, with a door width usually not less than 0.9 meters, a flat floor without steps, and equipped with auxiliary facilities such as handrails.

Luxury type is mostly used in high-end venues or long-term usage scenarios, such as five-star hotels or upscale commercial districts. Its length ranges from 2.5 to 3.0 meters, width from 1.5 to 2.0 meters, and height from 2.4 to 2.6 meters. The interior configuration is more complete, possibly including an independent sink, air conditioning or ventilation system, and even decorative elements to enhance the user experience.

Common single-pit specifications usually have an external length ranging from 1.2 to 1.5 meters, width from 1.0 to 1.2 meters, and height from 2.2 to 2.5 meters. This specification is suitable for most standalone mobile toilets, balancing functionality and cost-effectiveness.

Multi-pit combination specifications adjust dimensions based on the number of pits. For example, a two-pit unit may have a length ranging from 2.4 to 3.0 meters, with a width still maintained at 1.0 to 1.2 meters; larger container-type mobile public toilets can have a length of over 6 meters and a width of over 2.5 meters, suitable for large events or high-traffic areas.
