Differences in Mobile Toilet Sizes

Admin October 07, 2026

The sizes of mobile toilets vary significantly depending on their type and usage scenarios, primarily falling into single-person, double-person, barrier-free, and portable folding models. The specific differences are as follows:

1. Single-Person Mobile Toilets
The standard model measures 110cm in length, 110cm in width, and 230cm in height, suitable for ordinary public places or temporary event settings, with internal space sufficient for a single person's restroom needs. For space-constrained scenarios, the mini single-person model reduces dimensions to 100cm in length, 100cm in width, and 220cm in height, minimizing floor space by compressing length, width, and height, though this may compromise some comfort. Additionally, some basic models adopt a specification of 1.1m×1.1m×2.3m (length, width, height), identical to the standard model, with optimizations only in materials or structure.

2. Double-Person Mobile Toilets
The standard double-person model measures 180cm in length, 110cm in width, and 230cm in height, enabling simultaneous use by two people by extending the length, suitable for areas with high foot traffic. Some shared double-person models further extend the length to approximately 2.5m, maintaining a width of 1.1m and a height of about 2.3m, offering more spacious interiors to accommodate additional facilities or enhance the user experience. Such designs require attention to the site's load-bearing capacity and transportation convenience.

3. Barrier-Free Mobile Toilets
Designed to meet the needs of disabled individuals or those with mobility impairments, barrier-free models are significantly larger, with a standard specification of 180cm in length, 150cm in width, and 240cm in height, and some models adopting dimensions of 1.5m×1.8m×2.4m (length, width, height). The design focuses on reserving wheelchair access passages (width ≥ 90cm) and turning spaces (diameter ≥ 1.5m), along with auxiliary facilities such as handrails and low-positioned sinks, ensuring safety and convenience in use.

4. Small Portable Folding Models
These mobile toilets prioritize portability and ease of transportation, with folded dimensions reduced to 1m×1m×2m (length, width, height). Although the internal space is limited when unfolded, it meets basic restroom needs. They are often made of high-strength lightweight alloys or waterproof canvas, suitable for field operations, emergency rescue, and other scenarios, though regular maintenance of structural stability is necessary.

Summary: The choice of mobile toilet size should consider the number of users, site conditions, and special needs. Single-person models are suitable for space-constrained settings, double-person models enhance usage efficiency, barrier-free models demonstrate humanistic care, and portable folding models emphasize flexibility. When purchasing, it is advisable to match based on the specific scenario's accessibility standards (such as barrier-free design specifications) and transportation limitations.
