Mobile Toilet Size Design
The size design of mobile toilets needs to be comprehensively determined based on the usage scenario, functional requirements, and transportation conditions. Common design parameters are as follows:

1. Overall external dimensions
The typical dimensions of a single-pit mobile toilet are a length of 1.2-1.5 meters, a width of 1.0-1.2 meters, and a height of 2.2-2.5 meters, suitable for construction sites or small events. In multi-pit combined toilets, a two-pit unit has a length of 2.4-3.0 meters and a width of 1.0-1.2 meters. Large box-type toilets can have a length of over 6 meters and a width of over 2.5 meters, with multiple toilet stalls and a management room inside. The height design should take into account the internal clear height (to avoid a sense of oppression), the strength of the top structure (such as snow load capacity), the installation space for ventilation equipment, and transportation height restrictions. Some roofs adopt a slope design to optimize drainage.
2. Internal functional area dimensions
The clear width of the toilet area should be no less than 0.85 meters (ideal range: 0.9-1.0 meters), with a clear depth of 1.2-1.5 meters and a door width of no less than 0.6 meters to ensure user comfort. Accessible toilet stalls need to meet the requirements for wheelchair rotation, with a clear width of over 1.5 meters and a clear depth of over 1.8 meters. The recommended height of the hand-washing sink is 0.8-0.9 meters, in line with ergonomic standards.
3. Design points and standards
The material selection mainly focuses on lightweight and high-strength composite materials (such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic) to reduce weight for easier transportation. At the same time, a bottom drainage system and waterproof wall materials should be equipped. A modular design is adopted, with the top and bottom separated, supporting the mode of shipping individual parts, which is suitable for transportation needs in remote areas and allows for convenient on-site assembly. It should comply with the 'Urban Public Toilet Design Standard' (CJJ 14-2016), and some regions have additional requirements for size and environmental performance.
4. Adaptation to application scenarios
Single-room mobile toilets are suitable for construction sites and small events, with dimensions of a length of 1.2-1.5 meters, a width of 1.0-1.2 meters, and a height of 2.2-2.5 meters. Double-room/multi-functional mobile toilets are used for large events or long-term fixed locations, with a wider range of dimensions (such as a length of 3.0-4.5 meters and a width of 2.0-2.5 meters). In new rural reconstruction projects, modular combinations can quickly cover scattered residential points, solving the problem of long construction periods for traditional toilets.
5. Transportation and installation precautions
During transportation, road height and width restrictions should be considered to avoid exceeding limits. Before installation, ensure that the ground is level to prevent tilting that may affect structural stability. For long-term disuse, it is recommended to disassemble and store the toilet in a dry and ventilated place to extend its service life.
