Mobile Toilet Sink Installation

Admin October 10, 2026

The installation of a mobile toilet sink requires selecting the appropriate steps based on the toilet type and strictly adhering to sealing and stability requirements. The specific installation process and precautions are as follows:

I. Installation Timing and Basic Conditions
Sink installation is typically a later step in connecting the internal facilities of a mobile toilet. It should be carried out after the chassis and frame are in place, and the walls and roof have been installed. At this stage, it is essential to ensure that the main structure of the toilet is stable, providing a level support surface for the sink to prevent loosening or leakage at the connections due to subsequent deformation of the main body.

II. Installation Steps for Split-Type Mobile Toilets

  1. Fixing the Sink Body
Place the sink in the reserved position and secure it to the wall or frame using special bolts or clips. Ensure that the installation surface is flat to prevent cracking of the sink due to uneven local stress. If there is a gap between the sink and the wall, fill it with waterproof sealant to prevent water seepage.
  2. Connecting the Water Inlet and Drain Pipes
  • Water Inlet Pipe: Use modular quick connectors to connect the water supply pipe to the sink faucet, ensuring that there are no twists or bends at the connections. After connecting, slowly open the water supply valve to check for leaks at the connections. If leaks are found, retighten the connectors or replace the seals.
  • Drain Pipe: Align the drain pipe with the drain outlet at the bottom of the toilet and secure it with clamps or special glue. The drain pipe should maintain a certain slope (usually ≥2%) to prevent sewage from stagnating. After connecting, fill the sink with water and observe whether the drainage is smooth and free of leaks.
  1. Sealing Test
After completing the water and electricity connections, conduct a comprehensive sealing test on the sink. Close the drain outlet, fill the sink with water to the maximum water level, and let it stand for more than 30 minutes. Check for water seepage at the connections between the sink body, water inlet pipe, and drain pipe. If leakage is found, mark the location and reseal it.

III. Key Points for Installing Integrated Mobile Toilets
The sinks in integrated mobile toilets are usually integrated at the factory, and only water and electricity connections are required on-site. During installation, pay attention to the following:

  1. Alignment of Water and Electricity Connections: Use quick connectors to connect the water and power supplies according to the reserved connection positions at the factory, avoiding forced stretching or twisting of the pipes.
  2. Level Calibration: Adjust the support feet at the bottom of the toilet to ensure that the sink countertop is level, preventing water accumulation or overflow.

IV. Key Precautions

  1. Use of Modular Quick Connectors: Prioritize the use of quick connectors for water and electricity connections to shorten installation time, reduce operational difficulty, and facilitate later maintenance.
  2. Overall Structural Stability: After installation, check that the connection between the sink and the main body of the toilet is secure to prevent loosening due to vibrations during transportation or use.
  3. Anti-Freezing Measures (Northern Regions): If the mobile toilet is used in low-temperature environments in winter, wrap insulation material around the water inlet pipe to prevent pipe freezing and cracking.
