Introduction to Materials for Single Mobile Toilets
The materials for single mobile toilets mainly include four parts: the main frame, the toilet shell, internal facilities, and the floor and load-bearing structure, as detailed below:

Main Frame
Primarily made of metal, commonly high-strength steel or aluminum alloy. Steel is sturdy and durable, with strong load-bearing capacity, suitable for complex outdoor environments, typically with a thickness of 1.2mm - 2.0mm. When purchasing, pay attention to the welding process, prioritizing products with full-weld technology and interfaces free of burrs or cracks; surface treatment is recommended to use galvanizing or spray-coating processes to enhance rust resistance. Aluminum alloy is lighter and has excellent rust resistance, suitable for scenarios sensitive to weight (such as high-rise transportation or temporary events), but the cost is relatively higher.
Toilet Shell
There are mainly two types: fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) and engineering plastics (such as PP, ABS). FRP is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and strong, with a surface that can be treated to resemble wood grain or solid colors, typically with a thickness of 5mm - 8mm, suitable for humid or coastal areas; when purchasing, check for bubbles or dents on the surface, ensure the edges are smooth to avoid skin scratches, and confirm the temperature resistance range (-40℃ to 70℃). Engineering plastics have strong impact resistance and good thermal insulation, typically with a thickness of over 8mm, suitable for cold northern regions; it is important to confirm that the temperature resistance range meets the requirements of the usage environment.
Internal Facilities
- Squat/seat toilets: Ceramic materials are easy to clean but fragile, suitable for scenarios with high hygiene requirements; engineering plastic materials are lightweight and impact-resistant, suitable for frequent movement or use by children.
- Flush system: Pipes are mostly made of PVC material; check the tightness of the interfaces to avoid leaks; flushing methods can be pressure flushing or foot-operated flushing, with the latter being more water-saving and hygienic.
- Panels: Internal wall panels commonly use moisture-resistant or composite panels, with a recommended thickness of ≥12mm to prevent deformation; ceiling materials need to have fire-resistant properties to ensure safety.
Floor and Load-Bearing
- Wheels: Mainly rubber universal wheels, with a wheel diameter of ≥10cm and a load-bearing capacity of ≥200kg per wheel, ensuring smooth movement; it is recommended to install locking devices for long-term fixed use.
- Legs: Foldable or fixed designs; the larger the contact area with the ground when extended, the more stable, avoiding the risk of tipping over.
- Overall load-bearing: Standard mobile toilets should meet the weight requirement of ≥5 people using simultaneously; it is recommended to check the static load parameters in the product manual to ensure structural safety.
When purchasing, it is necessary to comprehensively evaluate material performance based on the usage scenario (such as climate, frequency of movement, load-bearing requirements), and pay special attention to details such as welding process, surface treatment, and temperature resistance range.
