Mobile Toilet Sewer Installation
Admin October 22, 2026
The installation of sewer systems for mobile toilets must follow standardized procedures to ensure safety and proper functionality. The specific steps and precautions are as follows:

I. Pre-Installation Preparation
- Site Survey and Planning
- Ensure the installation location avoids low-lying areas prone to water accumulation, high-voltage power lines, and obstacles. The site should be dry and well-ventilated.
- Measure the site dimensions and reserve sufficient operating space. The width of the toilet access passage must be ≥1.2 meters to prevent obstructions during subsequent use or maintenance.
- Material Inventory and Inspection
- Verify the model, quantity, and accessories (such as sewage pipes and sealing rings) of the mobile toilet. Check for any damage to the equipment's exterior and ensure internal facilities (such as flushing mechanisms and toilets) are intact.
- Confirm that the length and diameter of the sewage pipes match the sewer interface to prevent leaks due to size mismatches.
- Tool and Personnel Preparation
- Equip with tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, spirit levels, and sealants. Arrange for 2-3 professional installers.
- If the toilet is large or installed at a high location, coordinate the use of lifting equipment such as cranes for assistance. Single-person forced operation is strictly prohibited.
II. On-Site Installation Steps
- Foundation Fixing
- Lift the toilet body to the designated position and use a spirit level to adjust its levelness, ensuring the deviation does not exceed 3mm to prevent drainage issues or structural damage due to tilting.
- Secure the bottom of the equipment with expansion bolts (for hard surfaces) or counterweights (for soft surfaces). Strengthen fixation in areas with strong winds to prevent tipping.
- Water and Electricity Connection and Debugging
- Sewage Pipe Connection: Connect the sewage pipe to the nearest sewer or designated sewage collection tank, ensuring the pipe slope is ≥2% (i.e., a drop of 2 cm per meter) to prevent backflow or sedimentation of sewage.
- Water Supply Connection: Use a ≥DN20 water pipe to connect to the flushing system and test for stable water pressure to avoid weak flushing due to insufficient pressure.
- Function Debugging: Check the responsiveness of the flush button, drainage tightness (e.g., whether there are air leaks at the connection between the toilet and the pipe), and ensure no odors escape.
III. Post-Installation Inspection and Handover
- Function Test Checklist
- Flush Test: Press the flush button three times consecutively and observe whether the drainage is smooth without blockages or backflow.
- Load-Bearing Test: Evenly step on the top of the equipment (such as the roof or access hatch) to check structural stability. The load-bearing capacity must meet design standards (usually ≥200kg).
- Handover Document Confirmation
- Provide the customer with an Equipment Installation Acceptance Form, specifying the installation date, warranty period (usually 1-2 years), and usage instructions (such as regular cleaning of the sewage collection tank and avoiding the disposal of debris).
IV. Precautions and Safety Regulations
- Installation Safety Requirements
- High-Altitude Work: If installation at height is required (such as for roof access hatches), a safety harness must be worn. Single-person operation is strictly prohibited.
- Weather Restrictions: Installation is prohibited in winds of ≥Level 5 or during rainy/snowy weather to prevent equipment tipping or personnel slipping.
- Fire Prevention Management: Keep away from fire sources. Smoking or the use of open-flame equipment inside the toilet is strictly prohibited to avoid explosions or fires.
- Construction Site Management
- Demarcate the construction area and set up warning signs (such as fences and warning lights) to prevent unauthorized personnel from approaching.
- Nighttime construction requires adequate lighting, and reflective strips should be installed on the edges of the equipment to enhance visibility and prevent collisions.
