Mobile Toilet Sewage Pipe Installation
The installation of sewage pipes for mobile toilets should be completed before laying floor tiles, with a focus on controlling the drainage slope, displacement distance, and pipe fitting adaptability. It is generally recommended that the displacement not exceed 15 centimeters, and for complex scenarios, re-piping or professional solutions should be adopted.

1. Installation Timing and Basic Requirements
Sewage pipe installation should be carried out before the floor tile laying stage to ensure seamless integration of the pipes into the ground structure after embedding. Before installation, it is necessary to clarify the original and target positions of the sewage outlet. If position adjustments are involved (such as toilet displacement), the impact of the displacement distance on drainage efficiency should be evaluated first.
2. Displacement Distance and Slope Control
- Conventional Displacement Range: When using toilet displacement devices or similar fittings, it is recommended that the displacement distance be controlled between 2 and 15 centimeters. Short-distance displacement (such as within 5 centimeters) can maintain smooth drainage and reduce the risk of blockages; displacement exceeding 15 centimeters should be approached with caution, as the drainage slope needs to be significantly increased (typically requiring a slope of 2%-3% per meter), otherwise, it may lead to sewage retention or backflow.
- Long-Distance Displacement Solutions: If displacement exceeding 15 centimeters is required, it is necessary to re-plan the pipe routing, adopting methods such as raising the floor or running pipes through walls to increase the slope, or selecting specialized high-pressure toilets paired with large-diameter pipes (such as 110mm PVC pipes) to enhance drainage capacity.
3. Pipe Fitting Selection and Connection Methods
- Pipe Fittings Suitable for Scenarios: Choose appropriate pipe fittings based on changes in the sewage outlet position (such as wall-mounted to floor-mounted, horizontal to vertical). For example, wall-mounted to floor-mounted conversion requires a combination of 90-degree elbows + expansion joints to ensure tight connections and adjustable height; horizontal pipe connections should use oblique tees to reduce water resistance.
- Connection Techniques: Pipe fittings should preferably be connected using adhesive or hot-melt techniques (such as for PVC pipes) to ensure sealing; metal fittings require Teflon tape + sealing rings for double leak prevention. When connecting, manually screw in to the limit position to avoid excessive force causing pipe fitting cracks.
4. Handling Special Scenarios
- Space-Constrained Scenarios: If the mobile toilet is located in a narrow area, a flat pipe design (with a height of only 5-8 centimeters) can be adopted to reduce the need for floor elevation, but the displacement distance should be shortened (recommended not exceeding 10 centimeters) and cleaning ports should be added for easy maintenance.
- High-Rise Building Scenarios: Consideration should be given to pipe noise issues. Soundproof cotton can be wrapped around the sewage pipes, or spiral sound-dampening pipes can be selected to reduce water flow impact noise.
Tip: After installation, a water flow test should be conducted to check the drainage speed and interface leakage, ensuring no abnormalities before proceeding with the next stage of renovation.
