Mobile Toilet Sensor
The sensing equipment for mobile toilets mainly involves sensor-equipped mobile toilet products and related sensing technologies. Common brands include Huajie Lvyuan, Jiangxin, and Nuotai, with infrared reflection as the primary sensing principle, enabling automatic flushing and detection of occupied/unoccupied states.

Sensor-Equipped Mobile Toilet Products and Brands
Sensor-equipped mobile toilets are sanitary facilities that integrate automation technology, with core functions realized through sensing equipment. Currently, mainstream brands in the market include Huajie Lvyuan, Jiangxin, and Nuotai. These brands' products are typically equipped with intelligent sensing systems that can automatically trigger flushing, ventilation, and other functions based on user behavior, enhancing convenience and hygiene levels.
Infrared Reflection Sensing Technology Principle
Some mobile toilets employ technology similar to that of ordinary sensor-equipped sanitary facilities, utilizing infrared reflection principles for automated control. The working process is as follows:
- Signal Emission and Reception: The sensor has a built-in infrared emitter that continuously emits infrared rays. When a human body enters the sensing range, some of the infrared rays are reflected back to the receiver.
- Trigger Conditions: The sensor detects changes in the intensity of the reflected signal to determine the presence of a human body. For example, when the reflected signal intensity exceeds a preset threshold, the system determines it as "occupied" and triggers the flushing sequence.
- Parameter Adjustment: The sensing distance can be adjusted via hardware or software, with a maximum range of up to 1 meter, to accommodate different scenario requirements (such as stall size and usage habits).
Occupied/Unoccupied Sensors in Smart Public Toilets
In smart public toilet systems, detecting occupied/unoccupied states is a key function, with sensors typically using 86-panel infrared sensors installed on the rear wall of the stalls. Installation requires attention to the following details:
- Base Box Height: The sensor's base box must be level with the finished wall surface to ensure stable and aesthetically pleasing installation.
- Wiring Terminals: The positive and negative terminals must be strictly distinguished to avoid equipment damage or functional abnormalities due to incorrect wiring.
- Coverage Range: The 86-panel infrared sensor, through optimized optical design, can accurately detect human movement within the stall, reducing false triggers (such as from passersby outside).
Application Scenarios and Advantages
The application of sensing equipment in mobile toilets significantly enhances the intelligence level of public sanitary facilities:
- Water and Energy Conservation: Automatic flushing reduces human operational oversights, preventing water wastage.
- Hygiene Management: Occupied/unoccupied state data can be uploaded to a management platform, assisting cleaning staff in optimizing patrol routes.
- User Experience: Touchless operation reduces the risk of cross-infection, especially suitable for special periods like pandemics.
Through the combination of infrared sensing technology and intelligent control systems, mobile toilets have achieved an upgrade from "passive maintenance" to "active management", providing an efficient solution for public area hygiene assurance.
