Mobile Toilet Rural Cases
The main application cases of mobile toilets in rural areas include the 'Toilet Renovation Campaign' in rural areas of Jinan and the 'Toilet and Sewage Co-Governance' model in Danling County, Sichuan Province.

'Toilet Renovation Campaign' in Rural Areas of Jinan: In 2017, Jinan actively promoted rural toilet renovation work, planning to complete the renovation of 206,400 households. By the end of July that year, a cumulative total of 196,869 rural harmless sanitary toilets had been renovated, achieving a relatively high completion rate. Taking Tangli Village in Changqing District as an example, the village upgraded traditional dry toilets to harmless sanitary toilets through policy subsidies and construction renovations. During the renovation process, a three-compartment septic tank technology was adopted. This type of septic tank can effectively decompose harmful substances in feces and reduce environmental pollution. At the same time, the sub-district office regularly extracts biogas slurry for agricultural fertilization, achieving resource recycling. This measure not only addressed villagers' concerns about toilet renovation but also improved the rural sanitary environment and enhanced villagers' quality of life.
'Toilet and Sewage Co-Governance' Model in Danling County, Sichuan Province: Danling County closely combined rural toilet renovation with domestic sewage treatment, achieving coordinated governance of toilet feces and domestic sewage. Since 2018, the county has implemented a renovation plan of 'four batches' to transform old fecal pits and old biogas digesters into three-compartment septic tanks and build a complete pipeline network system. The renovated toilets meet the 'five haves and five haves not' standards, namely having a door, a roof, a water tank, a toilet bowl, and a washbasin, while being free of odors, dirt, garbage, debris, and standing water, and having a usable area of no less than 1.8 square meters. Taking Meiwan Village in Qile Town as an example, villagers have installed modern facilities such as flush toilets and ceramic washbasins in their homes. Sewage is connected to treatment stations through the pipeline network for treatment, effectively improving living conditions and the quality and efficiency of environmental governance. This model not only enhances the sanitary level of rural toilets but also promotes the overall improvement of the rural environment.
