How to Repair a Mobile Toilet

Admin September 21, 2026

The repair of a mobile toilet requires targeted measures based on the specific faulty part. Here are common issues and their handling methods:

Overall Structure and Appearance Maintenance

  1. Box Deformation or Cracking If there are small cracks in the box, use special plastic welding materials for repair. Ensure that the repaired area is flat and has good sealing. If the deformation is severe or the cracking affects the structural stability (such as cracking in load-bearing parts), the entire box or the damaged parts need to be replaced. The repair cost usually ranges from several hundred to a thousand yuan, depending on the material cost and the extent of damage.

  2. Door Lock and Hinge Faults Regularly apply lubricating oil (such as WD-40) to the hinges and lock cores to delay rusting and keep the opening and closing smooth. If the internal spring of the lock fails or the structure is damaged (such as the key cannot turn), it is recommended to replace the entire lock set directly to avoid repeated failures due to partial repairs.

  3. Vent Blockage Regularly check whether the vents are blocked by leaves, dust, or insect nests. Use a soft-bristled brush to clean the surface debris or a vacuum cleaner to remove the internal dust to ensure smooth air circulation and prevent odor retention.

Sanitary System and Flushing Device

  1. Manual/Foot-Pedal Flushing Valve Faults If the flushing valve cannot rebound, has weak water flow, or no water flow at all when pressed, first close the water inlet valve, disassemble the valve body to clean the scale, check whether the sealing ring is aged (replace it if it is hardened or damaged), and test the spring elasticity. If the valve body is broken, replace it with a new one.

  2. Automatic Induction Flushing Device Problems If there is no flushing or continuous flushing, first check the power supply (confirm that the battery has sufficient power if it is battery-powered) and whether the infrared induction window is blocked by dirt. If the problem is not solved, it may be a fault of the control main board or the solenoid valve. Contact professional personnel for repair to avoid further damage caused by self-disassembly.

  3. Storage Tank and Pipeline Leakage For minor leaks (such as loose pipeline connections), use waterproof sealing tape to wrap and reinforce or apply special glue (such as PVC glue) for sealing. If there are large cracks in the water tank, the repair reliability is low. It is recommended to replace the water tank to prevent long-term leakage from corroding the structure.

Waste Collection and Disposal System

Taking the packing-type toilet as an example, if the packing is incomplete or cannot be packed, check whether the packing bag is stuck, whether the sensor is sensitive, or clean the residues on the mechanical arm. If the problem persists, it may be a fault of the motor or the control module, and professional maintenance personnel are required to troubleshoot and replace it.
