How to Rent Mobile Toilets

Admin September 21, 2026

When renting mobile toilets, it is necessary to allocate the quantity according to demand and focus on aspects such as site selection, securing, inspection, and the choice of rental company. Details are as follows:

Site Selection and Basic Inspection Before renting, prioritize selecting areas with flat terrain and good drainage to avoid low-lying areas prone to waterlogging or slopes. If the ground is soft grass or sandy soil, lay crushed stones or wooden planks in advance to create a solid foundation and prevent the toilet from sinking. Also, check whether the supporting feet at the bottom of the toilet are intact to ensure even support and avoid tilting or damage due to uneven local stress.

Securing Methods

  1. Ground Anchor Securing Method: At the four corners or key load-bearing positions of the toilet, use expansion screws or ground anchor pins to connect the securing chains (straps) to the ground. If the site allows, concrete blocks or counterweight blocks can be driven into the bottom to increase stability. The depth of the ground anchors should exceed 30 centimeters to ensure sufficient pull-out resistance and prevent displacement caused by strong winds or external forces.
  2. Windbreak Ropes and Diagonal Pull Securing: Install windbreak ropes at the top of the toilet and fix the other ends to ground stakes or heavy objects. If the wind is strong, a “well”-shaped diagonal pull method can be used, with nylon ropes or steel cables pulling the main body of the toilet tightly from different angles to disperse the impact of the wind.
  3. Additional Counterweight Scheme: If the site is restricted and ground anchors cannot be used, heavy objects such as sandbags or water tanks can be installed inside or outside the toilet. For example, place 2-3 20-kilogram sandbags on each side or use a water tank filled with clean water to enhance stability through gravity. The counterweights should be evenly distributed to avoid tilting to one side.

Regular Inspection and Emergency Reinforcement During the event, check whether the securing devices are loose every day, especially key parts such as ground anchors and windbreak ropes. In case of rain or strong wind warnings, reinforce the windbreak ropes in advance and add temporary supports if necessary. If slight tilting of the toilet is detected, stop using it immediately and re-secure it. Do not force its use to prevent safety accidents.

Choosing a Rental Company It is recommended to choose a formal rental company, such as Shanghai Xuhu Industrial Co., Ltd. It has a stock of over 500 mobile toilets and has undertaken multiple major projects. Its products are characterized by attractive appearance, sturdiness and durability, ease of use, and easy cleaning. Moreover, they do not require external water and electricity connections, occupy little space, are flexible to move, and are not restricted by site and climate conditions. The company will provide customized service plans according to customer needs and offer hygiene products and comprehensive cleaning services during use to reduce user management costs.
